Hi, I'm having serious issues with the toe brakes on my saitek pro flight pedals. There's a real nasty and sharp deadzone kind of thing at the lower end of their range of movement. What i mean is that before i push the brakes over something like 20% of their range of movement (where 0% means that the brakes are off and 100% that they're on), absolutely nothing happens. Then, when i press them beyond the 20% point, they suddenly snap into action (As you can imagine, this is not good). Between 20% and 100% they are smooth as silk, no sudden spikes or anything. I've even tried setting the pedals up with FSUIPC, still no luck. Is this caused by bad calibration or are my pedals broken? Cheers KorRacer

Hi all! please forgive my exasperate tone but I really am at a loss. This morning I run the windows calibration utility fo my saitek x52 and after that, for some reason the throttle has stopped working properly. It now gets stuck (sometimes straight away, sometimes after a couple of seconds) around 50% and doesn't respond to imputs (it moves slightly but then it resets to that awful 50%. It looks like something is defaulting the throttle to that position as I've tried assigning other axes to it and it still does the same. Works fine with keyboard. When calibrating through FSUipc the axis management sees the throttle but the calibration utility just keeps flickering in the range 250-350 (throttle range is something like -16000 to +16000). Not sure if it could be a problem with FSUIPC but cannot test because I am unsure on how to uninstall it (and if it is advisable due to so many programs using it) and was unable to do anything about it despite trying for 2 hours. Here's my (unresolving) trobleshooting so far: 1.tested the joystick on other platforms - works fine 2. updated the drivers - nothing happened 3.tried to map the throttle through FSUIPC - the axis management sees the range but the calibration just flickers between 250-350 3. tried mapping other axes to the throttle - same problem 4.tried deleting and re-generating FSX config file - same issue but joystick moved for the first 10 secs or so before reverting back to the described behaviour 5.tried disabling and re enabling the controller on pc - nothing happened 6. tried any possible combination of key/axes assignment on FSUIPC - nothing happened 7. tried disabling the saitek control panel and leave windows to "see" the throttle as a default one - nothing happened The problem, in my opinion seems to reside in either FSUIPC of FSX itsef (but having deleted the config, shouldn't it be resolved) In the hope that someone has some fresh idea, Thanks all! A very frustrated Matteo Capocefalo MED1473

Looking for a little insight. Using FS4 with usb Flight Sim Yoke with Win7. Will regularly go out of calibration, though not on every boot of the computer. Don't calaibrate via FS, use the control panel. On going to settings for the driver, the centering control bounces all around on its own. After doing the calibration process, seems to be set up, but on returning to FS aircraft will drift lelft on take off. Once in the air, seems to straighted out for flight, but then falls into drift on landing. If set calibration to default, will sometimes work, sometimes not. ?????? Makes me a little crazy. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I apologize if there is a tread about it but a quick search didn't help me. I have a CH fighterstick and a pro throttle and I would like to have them perfectly calibrated. Unfortunately the original windows software is quite crappy and doesn't really help me calibrating in dead zones and so on. I would like to use FSUIPC but the problem is that PMDG doesn't want to use FSUIPC calibration, is there an alternate program or software to calibrate joysticks? Regards, Manfred

Hi, I have an issue. Today I received my USB RC adapter for R/C transmitters, and I thought to use it for P3D(A bit epic ), I entered the PPM calibration in "control panel", and when I tried to calibrate, it did recognize my axis, but each axis display a different role, for example, the Z axis is for the "throttle" , and instead of that, when I play with the axis, it controls the buttons of my transmitter in a strage way... Maybe can it be due to low battery of the transmitter? I hope I can get the answer here. Thanks
