I would indeed dream of A320 or A330 A340 from PMDG.... the most talented developper around !It is true that Airbus fans have been left around these years (Airsimmer, Wilco, Aerosoft....) nothing like PMDG which offer both eye candy and good systems at the same time !Greg

too much, too soon....

If not a Boeing, then I vote PMDGs next airplane be the H-4 Hercules.
Yes, why not, no more long boring flightsJust%20Kidding.gifJust%20Kidding.gif Cheers,

Hello Everyone, In my humble opinion, the PMDG Team are on a par with the former Rolls Royce motor company whereby customers could wait up to a year for a Phantom Roller which illustrates the care and attention to detail that went into the product. This same care and attention has been carried forward by PMDG to previous products and to the upcoming ones. I would be over the moon if PMDG decided to produce the Airbus family of aircraft, bearing in mind that the present developers who have done so have made a pigs ear of them. Having said this, the only possible drawback would be the time scale relevant to what is in the present pipeline. PMDG would surpass themselves if an Airbus in all its entirety could be produced in a short space of time. Keep up the great work. richard welsh.

Would love an A340, just because it looks different really to most other aircraft.

FSLabs has decided to go for the Airbuses so I would assume that PMDG is on the Boeing side with occasional De Havilands... Good for us!......

Hi All,I'd love to see a classic 747-200 and SP that has been retrofitted with a modern FMC and Nav Display (updated Avionics etc. Ive seen some videos on youtube of retrofit avionics on the 742 and SP) I think that would really rock. Nevertheless, I would be equaly happy with a high qaulity Airbus.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69F4xnNjLikCheers,Nicholas Boskovic

Airbus, Boeing or other, I will take. Even if i have a preference for the first one... :biggrin:But i would love to see PMDG develop their aircraft with the Accusim philosophy. For me the B17 is the best FSX addon on the market, and i don't even really like war planes.Benjamin

Would be nice to see a 747-200 Classic or a 777.Best regards,Robin.

  • 1 year later...

I would love to have a PMDG A330/A340 family but a full 747-8 is great also. But surely these go after the 777 Family is released. LOL.gif

I would LOVE to see a PMDG airbus :D. Although I love Boeings more this would be awesome too. PMDG can say that it's very hard to do because it's a very complex aircraft, and that it can't be done entirely like in the real world. You know what? I don't care! No airplane can be done EXACTLY like in the real world. 737NGX is extremely close, but still doens't have ACARS, DFDAU, a weather radar, etc. Simply because it's not really possible in FSX. No airplane can be done exactly like in the real world. But if there would be someone who could do it closer to the real world than anyone had ever done, then it would be PMDG. I prefer a not entirely realistic PMDG A320 over no PMDG Airbus at all.

I always wonder how some people manage to dig up old threads without realising.Where did the rumor come from that PMDG cannot replicate Airbus FBW? - PMDG never said they couldn't model FBW or the A320 ELAC or SECS, I have been flying an addon with full FBW in FS9 for over two years now, FSLABS are doing the same for FSX and it would be a peice of cake for PMDG. All it takes is to filter joystick inputs which is something PMDG have been doing for years.Regards

Indeed, every product we've made for MSFS does it.If you want to see an awesome example of true FBW modelling in FSX check out the VRS F/A-18E too - they did an amazing job.
