July 21, 201015 yr It is actually finished, they completed it weeks ago and are simply pretending they haven't to annoy the people who keep asking when will it be finished. That must mean the Woodpigeon is also now complete since Vic promised it before anything else. :( Bill Casey
July 21, 201015 yr Who's Vic? me too, I also just got the MD-11 today, so will be busy with that for a while! :( (might not even notice the NGX being released!!) :(I would like to reccomend getting the ITVV DVD of the Martinair MD-11. The best of the lot, in my opinion. It shows the full flights of Schipol - Palma -Schipol and the crew show you everything concerning the MD-11.My favourite. ;) Dave Taylor
July 21, 201015 yr Sorry to go off topic slightly, but as the ITVV DVD of the MD-11 was mentioned, can anyone recomend any other great cockpit titles?some that I've watched are quite old and Im sure theres got to be some newer ones out there for say the 737NGX, A320 etcgot to agree though, the MD-11 ITVV film is fantastic. July 21, 201015 yr It is actually finished, they completed it weeks ago and are simply pretending they haven't to annoy the people who keep asking when will it be finished. They've also finished their FSX 787 and a fully realistic A320 too and are doing the same thing with those, which they should be able to keep up for a few years :( AlAl You're probably not far from the truth. They are not in English, but have English subtitles, and they are absolutely stunning, especially in blue ray. Heres a preview from youtube, and there are others on there as well. Sam Crawford

July 21, 201015 yr can anyone recommend any other great cockpit titles?Although it is quite old, and featuring a now defunct airline following a fatal crash which put them out of business, the DVD of Helios Airways 737-800s is particularly well worth checking out if you want a good look around the NG's cockpit and to see how it is operated on a day-to-day basis. Amongst the interesting things on that DVD, a co-pilot gives us a very good demonstration of the mode control panel's features, in particular, how to get it to automatically turn one way instead of the other when following a heading input. This DVD: http://www.worldairroutes.com/Helios.htmlDespite Helios having suffered a rather tragic crash, you needn't worry where that DVD is concerned incidentally, since none of it features anyone who was killed in flight Helios Flight 552, nor the aircraft involved in that crash, so it isn't in any way morbid to watch. Definitely one of the better 737 NG cockpit DVDs, in spite of its age. This online video is worth a look too by the way: Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
