Not to kill the anticipation for the release hopefuls, but the NGX hasn't even gone into beta yet. The beta period is at least a few weeks, so I don't think anyone will be using the NGX this summer, sorry.

The Australians will. :(

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

The Australians will.

I agree with Alex. It would be nice. And some pix :( . I've got a month left of my summer vacation, no kidding. I've been waiting for this, and am looking forward to flying this, but at this rate, I'd expect it to be out in time for the FSWeekend in Lelystad. They said mid-2010 but it's already a month later than the middle of 2010. I hope it will be worth the wait. Thanks PMDG developersAlex

They said the mid-2010 target has slipped a few pages earlier in the thread.I expect it for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

It wasn't to long ago that I seen a movie with all the previews shot todate and calling out October as the release date. Possible sounds about right, but it wouldn't surprise me if it went to the last date of the year since we have yet to see anything on an exterior modeling. If they are working hard on cockpit, VC, and flight systems now.

I am reading this threat thread already from start. Sometimes it's (was) very hard to no reply on some of the messages because I didn't want to. This time I couldn't resist to reply because I think a lot of people here don't know what programming is. I suppose most of them have the 737 serie (for FS9), 747, MD11 and/or JS41. Starting from cold and dark, have you ever been looking very good to your screen what all is happening ? You click the batteries on, you see the switch moving to that possition, you hear some noice, starting up the external power and air, again switches are moving, you startup the APU, see figures moving up, hear sounds etc etc. All these, the movements of the flaps, airbrakes, engine reverse, MCP, FMC, .... that all have to be programmed and must be running synchrone with each other. If this never came to your mind then take your time and look very good to the complete system. Don't think about flying, just think what's going on with that bird. I hope you'll be surprised of what you're seeing and hearing, inside and outside the aircraft. Each time I fly the MD-11 or B-747, I'm so impressed how the PMDG team managed all this. So, please don't ask any longer when it will be released. Give the team their time for having a wonderful NGX.Thank you.
