June 11, 201015 yr Everytime I get the email from avsim that says "vscimone has just posted a reply to a topic that you have subscribed to titled "The View Forward with the PMDG 737NGX..." I must read lolAwesome!!
June 11, 201015 yr Looks like a few pieces of cheeze cracker snack like is served on SWA. Sure is realistic. Nice. Dan Downs KCRP
June 12, 201015 yr Sort of puts the nail in the coffin for Microsoft's "As real as it gets" Slogan. That default 737-800 is on its way to a junkyard somewhere. Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
June 12, 201015 yr meh, looks allright I quess. :( This is going to be the bestest fs plane ever!!!!!!! June 12, 201015 yr Vince,Looks amazing! So if this one is going to be a little dirty, which I'm completley fine with, then will the BBJ be the clean and prestine one??Mike Davey 777 Mike Davey 777 Windows 64- Intel ® Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz, 4.00 GB Ram Ge Force GTX 460
June 12, 201015 yr VIN, your finest picture yet. As for the complaints as between clean and not clean: to be fair there are many, many planes that look forever like you're flying the bird out of Seattle or Tolouse, this is the first that I can remember that looks like the seat might still be warm from the last guy. And, given the number of simmers who can only fly routes flown by actual airlines while dressed with the proper livery, I applaud PMDG for going with the proper "in service" cockpit. June 12, 201015 yr It looks so REAL!!! Oh, and about the dirt thing; just look at all the crap lying around the gear stick, and the crumbs in the money box in your car. Look at all the stuff gathered around the inside rim of the radio's LCD. The 737's like a really big car in that sense. :( Andrew McCluskey
June 12, 201015 yr Where are my wipes... I can feel my OCD kicking in... pretty cool. \Robert Hamlich/
June 12, 201015 yr That graffiti practice actually featured heavily in an air accident investigation once, when the CRM failings of the crew of British European Airways Flight 548 (a Trident) were believed to have potentially contributed to its crash. Graffiti was found on several BEA Tridents having a dig at the Captain of Flight 548 (Stanley Key). Key was known to mistrust young FOs, and many of them indulged in writing graffiti about him in BEA cockpits.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 12, 201015 yr We can't win, I'm sure if it was pristine as you say you want someone else would complain that it wasn't realistic.I agree with you on that. Just my 2 cents, nothing more. Still very much looking forward to this aircraft. June 12, 201015 yr Forget the graffiti! Depending on the airline (and airframe) there are far more "interesting" tidbits to be found hidden in the nether regions of the cockpit...errr...flight deck. I'll let your imagination fill in the blanks...
