Great shot but why so dusty/dirty? :( Surely the panel can look worn without being filthy... please take a virtual duster to that panel and clean it!

I actually like the dirt. Every payware/freeplane I have ever used is always perfectly clean. They just don't model the dust I guess.

I like the look as well. The only other plane I own that looks like it has had some use in the cockpit is the CaptSim 727. Personally, I like the slightly worn look more than a VC that is too clean. Although when it comes to exterior paints I dont care for the overly worn look of the McPhat paint jobs.

While I am not a fan of dirty cockpits (I mainly use my aircraft in a charter type format, and as such like my cockpits clean and well kept) I applaud PMDG for their efforts on this cockpit. It is truly stunning! I eagerly await this birds release. Haven't been disappointed with the MD-11 and J-41, and this looks to surpass both in the visual department. Cannot wait to start seeing some of the systems previews and such. I must say either the pilots of that bird couldnt find their mouths, or they had one turbulent ride through the clouds at meal time :(
