June 19, 201015 yr Unfortunately, there are more developers who will chew you out for blowing the whistle or even having an opinion or asking a question they take offense to.However, spare a thought for those who bought a certain airbus that took a few years to "finish".That's why I always look for independent reviews before I shell out the cash.No reviews, no purchase.GoranPart agree. Some developers, like PMDG, you can't go wrong with. Regards, Frank van der Werff
June 19, 201015 yr It'd be nice if it was possible to build a shared cockpit so you can have to people running the 737NGX on 2 different PC's with one being the PF and the other the PNF, but still be in the same cockpit and see the other turn switches and stuff.I guess it won't be in the NGX, right? June 19, 201015 yr Guys, Gals and others,This has to be respectfully said I'm afraid. For all of you out there that are going on and on and on with your whining and incessant pestering asking for screen shots, delivery dates etc. Please I implore you to please just show some patience (and STFU). PMDG has never let us down and they won't this time either. It will be when its time. Cheers, Scott Ball

June 19, 201015 yr When you start stepping outside the realms of SDK-land in order to make FSX do all the kind of stuff necessary to make a fancy add-on aircraft more believable than what the default sim can do, it becomes difficult to achieve things like a shared cockpit, and as much as some people would like that feature, PMDG may have to go the more prudent route and stick with concentrating on what the vast majority of people would probably want, which is realism that forgoes cockpit sharing, rather than the other way around. It's a bummer for those who would like to indulge in CRM with a buddy, but quite possibly the way it will go. They may pull it off, since if any company knows what it is doing with FS, it is PMDG, but I daresay that if it involves jumping through hoops and spending a lot of development time to try and suss it out, they'll have to decide whether that game is worth the candle in terms of development time resources.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

June 19, 201015 yr Holy crap! People are so rude these days. PMDG, how about you release a screenshot or the product when its ready.

That said I have no idea about the internals of neither the Maddog nor the NGX. I hope they will include cockpit sharing tho
June 19, 201015 yr Oh I'm not saying it is impossible, very little is impossible if someone is willing to try. Just that the trying might be too lengthy to justify the effort when it is for a feature that probably only a few people would use, since I daresay the majority of PMDG buyers are likely to fly the thing on their own.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

It really sounds like a lot of these developers that start with this plane run into a huge pit when they realize that the systems on these planes are so overly complicated. Steven Penninck

June 20, 201015 yr With much respect to the PMDG team, I have never used any of their aircraft. Previously, it was just out of my price range. I'm not complaining at all, though. I've kept an eye on their products since the original 737NG and I wholly understand that a level of quality and fidelity deserves due compensation. It was just a choice I had to make on what my budget will allow. Well, things have changed for me such that I can be a little more loose on the old "entertainment dollars" purse strings, and I am eagerly anticipating this release. I've also been keeping an eye on Bryan York's FS2Crew product, and I'm sure that a new, voice-enabled version for the NGX is on the horizon once the bird is released. After reading about it and watching the YouTube vids out there, it seems I've got two guaranteed purchases for a (hopefully!) early Christmas. June 20, 201015 yr For those of you (including me) who think the modelled flightdeck looks kind of dirty, it doesn't look too bad when comparing this:Mark
