I agree with Al; a bit more mileage could have been interesting.That said, I'm playing devil's advocate when I wonder if the OP was referring to the "no CD crack" that some valid owners used to avoid CD wear (I'm one of them; found it on a legit FS site soon after I purchased the program six or seven years ago?). Although I don't use FS2004 any more (thanks to Bojote, among others), I did reinstall FS2004 once after I bought a new machine last year. I was surprised to see that the disk that remains in the tray (4???) wouldn't read due to a worn circle in the CD plastic, a circle that apparently conformed to the tiny plastic beads on the tray which elevated the disk somewhat and helped it spin. The only way I was able to complete the installation was to spend some time polishing the scratched disk with toothpaste and a soft cloth; it eventually worked. I do realize that the same crack can be used by pirates, but I wonder what ste6ve was actually inferring. I have to admit that if I was still running FS2004, I wouldn't be doing so with the CD in the machine; I already stretched my luck, I think.

He's Talking about FSX and FSX does not require the disk in the drive to operate. He is a thief and harms all of us for software that is only $40. If he can afford a computer he can pay $40 bucks.
