Yup, me too. Lionheart's Bellanca Turbo Viking is one of my favourite FSX aircraft of all. It can easily make it up to 20,000 feet if you want it to (with the pilot on oxygen, which the model shows), it can cruise at 200 knots, but you can get it into very small airstrips, and it has a really beautiful VC.It's not that expensive either; seriously recommended.Al

That was the first AC I flew IRL so I tend to favor that one for some nostalgic reason. Too bad my boss had to scrap it due to termites. :-(

For low and slow, I like the Just Flight Insider Cessna 152. On the plus side, it's a free download. I flew a C-150 many years ago and have always enjoyed this airplane.

For airports I tend to use the default Bell helicopter.For areas, I have always used the Carenado C182 RG, mainly because I like retracting gear and all that... Sounds silly, I know, but I like retractable gears...If I feel I want something "heavier" for flying around areas, I'll fly the Aerosoft Twin Otter, also because it's marvelously detailed yet has great performance.

Just about all of my favourite warbirds: the RealAir Spitfire, the Vertigo Studios SBD Dauntless, the CLS DC-10, and several freeware aircraft, such as the freeware Spitfires by A.F. Scrub, the Cessna L-19 Bird Dog by Massimo Taccoli, and the Cessna 177 Cardinal by Brett Henderson.Dave

Anything Carenado, and yes I can hardly wait for the 208!!I like the RealAir Spitfire, love the L-39 Albatross, but the fav if I don't care to go slow is A2A's J3 cub.

FSX Ultralight plain and simple!! Great view at the right speed. What else could you possibly ask!!!

I like the Twin Otter to do that. You can do some insane short Take offs and landings, achieve great heights in a realtive short time and also can dive very steep with the reverser enganged to get to the ground very quickly if you found a nice place to land.Take offs and landings are not as short as with the Cub, but it´s a lot faster if you want and can gain / lose height very quickly.
