August 10, 201015 yr For sightseeing I like to use the DA-20 Katana : it has a nice unobstructed canopy.Jean-Jacques Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
August 10, 201015 yr Depending on how much I want to pay attention to "flying" while sightseeing, there are three: 1) FSD's Porter which has enough speed to cover some ground but also has great visibility and can turn (and land, for that matter) on a dime, 2) A2A's J3 Cub which is much like the Porter only light years slower, and 3) A2A's P-47 "Razorback".Rich
August 10, 201015 yr Have you tried his Zlin? :)No. But, I would like to. I've searched for it and so far no luck finding it. MSFS
August 10, 201015 yr His WACO UPF-7 is also a great aircraft, was updated for FSX, and highly recommended.Shoot, so is his Mooney Mite.....and.....whelp, anything 'Pig' does is worth having, especially at the asking price :(
August 10, 201015 yr I've used the R-22 helo for sightseeing. Being able to pause in mid-air gives me ample opportunity to take in the details.Gary
August 10, 201015 yr I'm suprised no one mentioned the FSX maule orion M7. This is my overall fav for sight seeing while getting somewhere at the same time; that top wing and clear side panels can't be beat for providing an excellent view at 120 mph TAS. As a noob around here, is there some taboo associated with flying this aircraft for I've never seen it mentioned. I found this nice picture of one IRL: http://en.wikipedia....n_C-GZAU_01.JPG CPU: AMD 9800X3D PBO MB +200 CO -25| Motherboard: MSI MAG X870e Tomahawk WiFi | GPU: MSI RTX 5090 Ventus 3X OC | RAM: G.Skill 2x32GB DDR5 6000 cas 30 | M.2 SSDs: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2T, WD Black SN750 M.2 1T | Hard Drive: WD Black HDD 6T 7200 | Optical Drive: LG Bluray writer, internal | Cooling: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO | Case: Fractal Design Focus G | PSU: NZXT C1200 1200W Win 11 Pro 64|HP Reverb G2 revised VR HMD|Asus 25" IPS 2K 60Hz monitor|Saitek X52 Pro & Peddles|TIR 5 (now retired)
August 10, 201015 yr Flight1 BN-2 Islander, not exactly fast but its a really excellent aircraft for FSX. Cheers, Andy.

August 10, 201015 yr If I'm going fast, I'll take the Lotus L-39.If I'm going not so fast, I'll take Aerosoft's Twotter. If I'm going slow, the Carenado 206 or Piper Arrow IV.If I'm going really slow, the Nemeth EC-135.
