Can someone work on a DHL Air repaint for her? I realize the freighter model has not been done but it would be nice to fly with a few freighter repaints that use winglets. DHL UK, Mas Air, LAN Cargo, Absa.

Now we just need them to reopen the link to the repaints so we can have more than just ANA and the LDS default. I guess their server was getting slammed from people downloading the repaints. In fact they said that more repaints were downloaded than the actual update. Not sure why people would download the repaint for winglet versin without the update though.

Well I finally got around to installing it tonight and what a treat. Its almost like a whole new a/c for free. I really love the new VC textures since I never downloaded and installed André's VC update prior to this. I am going to have to install those VC textures for the non-winglet model as well.Thanks to the LDS guys and André for all the hard work in giving us this update.

The engines make a "double start" during the engine start and all of the FMC performance data is dumped during this time. Quite unfortunate. There are some workarounds, but at the moment my hours are extremely limited on the LDS 763 because of the bugs. In FS9, it was almost all I flew.While I agree the 763 is excellent, the attitude towards the Acceleration bugs has been frustrating being summarized as 1) you can live with them or 2) you can uninstall Acceleration to fix these problems. I'm waiting for the 757 to be released not only to see what I expect to be a great aircraft, but because they've stated they will legitimately fix these problems once the 757 is out.

It was open last night, even though, the post said it was closed for a couple of days. I downloaded all of them! There was one repaint that looked like there was a problem, the United Retro, tail textures appear to be missing. Other than that they look good. Just checked though and it looks like the links are down again.

Thanks.The Acceleration "bugs" have two workarounds. It is a problem and we recognize it is an inconvenience to wait until the 757 is complete. We have suggested that if users cannot live with the "bugs" and the workarounds, then the uninstallation of Xpack might be necessary.In fact, a user has come up with a novel fix for the problem, just reported in the support forum. When reporting flaws, please make sure to do so factually.

Are they the exact same VC textures released by Andre? can someone confirm/list the 'exact' changes provided by this update? I never ever use any outside views, so having winglets or not makes no diff to me. But, if there is somehting 'new' then I will definitely give it a try.

Yes, same thing. The main reason I was in awe was because I never installed them the first time. Now that they were automatically installed in the new model, just that was worth it for me to go ahead and install them in the standard non-winglet model.

Yeah, I dont use external views much myself, other than for taking the occasional screen shot, but you maybe interested for the few fixes listed above if not for the sake of having a new model.Anyways, hope this helps and that the LDS guys dont mind that I provided a small screen shot from the release PDF. If not the mods can delete it if I was wrong to post the fixes.Regards.
