Keep up the good work Dev Team cant wait for the final product.

Dear PMDG Team thanks for this bird good work :( ! But one question can the landinglights individually turn i mean the fixed and the retractable lights. In the old FS9 version was one relee to put on all! Its important to put individually after take off you turn off the retractable lights the fixed must be on under FL100 . When you fly on Iran ,Irak , Syrien you must be on the fixed landing lights at your crz flightlevel to better detection. Thanksbest regardsChris

that's not a UFO(using the common definition of the conspiracy theorists and paranoids), it is a weather balloon or a flare from an aircraft. There's nothing for you to see there, move along :( :( :( LOL.gif Ricardo de Paula

Fernando-In the real world the way you will find yourself in a flap assym situation is if your maintenance staff has failed to follow Boeing's guidelines regarding the lubing and replacement of life limited parts in the flap actuators. (Yes- there's a reason I know this...) This will cause quite a bit of VERY noticeable airframe vibration long before you get the assym condition... but if it happens- it will be because part of the flap departed the airplane. (You would be lucky to survive it hitting the horizontal...)So... No this will not be simulated. We explored it, but FSX really doesn't lend itself well to lift/drag asymmetry without really jacking things up. Aside from that the airplane has built in protections to mitigate the risks of a mechanical flap assym.
Hi Robert,Just wanted to add that you could find yourself in a flap assym situation in case one of the components that detects that situation gets disconnected (e.g there is a piece called a "target" that pulse a sensor while the flap/slats extends. It compares the distance travelled by both flap/slat on each wing). The flap/slat assym indicator would then pop up on the eicas (even though this is not actual) and as you know that is a NO GO for any airline. I actually experienced that on a 767 a few month ago when the target was ejected and lost after probably a hard landing...Beside that, I wanted to congratulate you and all the team for the exceptional work. :( Just one question, can you confirm that the thickness of the flaps is fullybased on reality because it seems to me that it looks a bit too think on the shots you posted ?? justa question of course, not a statement !Looking forward to fly this bird !Gregory

too much, too soon....

A touch off topic but is the KRNT fully modeled in the orbx scenery? As well does the textures blend well with UTX & GEX? Does the orbx stuff just sit on to of it? Last question, are there night textures?

When I look at the Facebook picture, I see that the exterior is perfectly reflecting the objects outside. Is this actually implemented or did you guys just add that for effect?

Incredible!!!!!!!! Thanks and thanks for this art ... The aircraft is perfect! I'll stay hours and hours flying this bird ... And my VISA card is ready to go!!!Regards from Spain

FSX does not allow for real-time reflections.

Our long standing position on WX radar remains the same - EGPWS was possible to do in FSX, realistic radar is not. The terrain is a much better feature at least as far as FS is concerned - the weather can't really hurt you in FS, but the terrain certainly can. Believe me, if we could do it we would, there's already a whole host of firsts happening on this airplane that people have said aren't possible in FSX, but weather radar isn't one of them. We've researched this exhaustively, the engine just doesn't work in a way that would allow us to simulate it correctly.
Would it be possible to insert the WX Radar from Real Enviroment Xtreme or ActiveSky Evolution?

I forget exactly where I saw it but I think it was a Wilco/Feelthere product being used for a Military overseas where they actually implemented a touch screen using their software for the overhead etc., but their new pilots where trainning on it. I just was wondering if you guys are developing this for anyones else other than the FSX community. Or have you been approached by anyone particular airline, military etc?Best add on of year 2011 is my prediction.Mike Davey 777
