April 18, 201115 yr Oooh. I forgot abou the Level-D. GREAT plane. But as far as having the most buttons and switches to push I think the iFly still beats it (although it's bloody close!). April 18, 201115 yr Good suggestions thus far, and I would add the DA Fokker 70/100 as well. Very detailed, but the lack of a VC deters some people.I guess in terms of realism (which was the question) the DA Fokker 70/100 should be there. I did not however include it as unfortunately (and this is nothing to do with the lack of a VC), this is not one of my favourite aircraft for some odd reason although it feels as if it should be!! April 18, 201115 yr Most realistic? That question would best be answered by RW pilots on specific types.Anyway, from a simmer's personal point of view:1. Leonardo Maddog MD-82 (the master)2. Digital Aviation Fokker 70/1003. Project Tupolev Tu-154MBut iFly 737NG, Level-D 767-300, PMDG MD-11 and 747-400 are not far behind.I find them all to be excellent simulations. Each worth having, learning, flying and enjoying.
April 18, 201115 yr Most realistic? That question would best be answered by RW pilots on specific types. We do what we can! :( I've flown full motion sims at US Airways' CLT training center a few times. I particularly flew the 737-400 sim. I've had about 45 minutes each time with about 4 visits so far doing everything from V1 engine fails, normal approaches, approaches to minimums, and even a rudder hard over. The 737's handling reminded me of the Level-D 767. It had a certain feel when when banking left and right that was very responsive. The other thing that has stuck in my head was the sight picture during the flare. You're still 30-40ft in the air at touchdown and the Level-D 767 always conveyed this best to me. Just my personal opinion. Not bragging. Just trying to back up my statements! ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
April 18, 201115 yr The all-around best must be the Leonardo Maddog. There is no rivaling plane for as far as I can see in FS2004. Also very good is the PT Tu-154M, and that one's free too! There's also the LDS767, which flies great, but I also like the PMDG 747 a lot. I'm less of a fan of the MD-11, but system-wise it's also very good. Not as good as the Leonardo Maddog, but very good nonetheless. April 19, 201115 yr Hi,it has no FMC, but it's right up there when it comes to realism - Ready For Pushback B747-200. Old, yes; VC not entirely up to today's standards - yes, but still my all time favourite. Between managing the CIVA INS and fuel system it does not get boring even on the longest routes. :smile:regards,Jure
April 19, 201115 yr iFly737 and Level-D feel best for my flying. And they are amazingly smooth performance wise on fps compared to Maddog. I fly them 100% from VC only with fixed views in 2D-style but in VC immersion. Maddog is just heavier on fps in VC and I don't fly from 2D anymore (I used to like DA's Fokker). PMDG's 747 is a great rendition, but B767 is the largest one I can afford myself to to fly reasonalby short routes for.Cheers,Dirk.
April 19, 201115 yr I didn't use any of the any of the mentioned payware airliners but i can certainly recommend Protu-154. It also has the best price to quality ratio.Best regards.

April 19, 201115 yr The OP asked for the most realistic. CLS develop Lite Versions, therefore not realistic. It's 'lite' but it looks outstanding both inside and out (lots of eye candy features) and has a great FDE. It's only basic in the fact that the engineers panel isn't 'fully' modeled, the autopilot is not like the real one, and the INS isn't there. It's really a great add-on without those cumbersome features and I'm a hardcore guy. CLS's alternative to doing the work of three people is not all that bad. This add-on is not 'lite' in the since of Perfect Flight's work if your familiar with them. Are the frame rates better doing it that way vs just the standard VC? ThanksBrad

April 19, 201115 yr What is the most realistic airliner for Fs2004? When I say realistic, I am not just talking about the model and VC. I want to know which airliner has the best FMC, most clickable buttons, most realistic feel of flight and if real world procedures would be possible on this aircraft.Payware or Freeware... it does not matter.Help would greatly be appreciated,Thanks a lot in advance guysAnsarias--------------------------------------------What is that mountain goat doing way up here in the clouds?Ansarias,Based on your criteria for realism and the airliners that I own, I would say:Level-D B767 PMDG B747 PMDG B737 Have fun learning the complexities and enjoy the rewards.Dave Vega dv Win 10 Pro || i7-8700K || 32GB || ASUS Z370-P MB || NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11Gb || 2 960 PRO 1TB, 840 EVO My Files in the AVSIM Library
