We'll be showing off some of the PMDG 737NGX liveries in the coming days! Keep an eye out for them here and on our Facebook page.
Thanks really great to hear. Just one thing, a while back several people were talking about how the landing lights would fare up and someone said that they were alike the AS A320 (they light up scenery). Is this still true? Because it was very hard to see in the video. Once again great work guys.

TrackIR and EZDOK. Both together are a must and you won't fly without them once you have them setup correctly :(
Ive had Track IR4 in the top draw of my computer desk for a couple of years now, pretty much untouched as it felt wrong back then and after trying again earlier still feels wrong.I also tried without track IR4 using the mouse and Ctrl SPACE to reset the view but it just don't seem right ???

Thank you Robert for the update! This should really calm down the disgruntled/impatient crowd!

Did anyone else notice glass reflections on the gauges? Incredible.
Yep, and did I also notice a slight green hue on the HUD? (or is that my eyes failing again?! :( )

I kept checking on the PMDG Forum quite a while lately, waiting for the big news, and now there it is; the two videos are stunning, just a great new add on I won't do without, and my first PMDG product. Well done boys, keep the good work up, Enrico Lazzaroni

Looks absolutely great guys! However, I think I'll be having to use the 2D cockpit as the VC will probably slow my Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L mobo/4GB DDR2 PC6400 memory/Q9650 3.0GHz/Geforce 9600GT 512MB setup down too much. It's too soon since my last upgrade to get another one past the boss!Never mind! I'm sure it will be a great add-on as are all the other PMDG a/craft.Iain Smith

There is a question I'd like to ask: I am interested in buying the manuals, but I would not want to do it just to find out they are too technical. I don't mind the reading, I just would like to know whether they are easy to understand. If anyone out there bought the manuals, please tell so I can make a thought out decision, thanks in advance for any help, regardsEnrico Lazzaroni

If it looks this good already what the hell are PMDG talking about when they say "you haven't seen nothing yet"?????!!!!!

Ryan, those sounds are really great, well done!Well Done!!
Credit really goes to Armen for that, my part was quite small. I don't want people to think I had a bigger development role in all of this than I actually did just because I'm the most visible guy on the forum - you want to be thanking Vangelis, Vin, Jason, Alex, RSR, Michael, Henning, and Armen for the actual coding and modelling stuff. My role is pretty limited in terms of actual development - I took photos on the survey trip, helped with some minor sound stuff, edited some light fx files and that's pretty much it. It's all moral support and testing aside from that hehe.

The lights are fully 3D/volumetric - yes, they light up the scenery. Even the navs and strobes are.

It's actually a redish/pinkish hue - here's a real life shot - I can see it looking green maybe based on what's in the background though.61.JPG

Hello. They are a bit technical, obivously as a pilot you've got to learn a lot of things about the systems of the airplane, if something is going wrong there is nobody to help you aside from your captain determining what is the impact of this or that failure. Now it is not that hard either, you see the wiring but you do not get into the full details of the systems components in very high details. You also got a lot of performance tables, bulletin released by boeing, and also a part from a knowledge of the systems, it also indicates what's the meaning of every lights and what is the action of each buttons, and so on.Aside from this there is also the obvious Training manual, which get's into the details of handling the plane in the various normal or abnomrla situation, taxi, takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, roll out, ... So my belief is that it is worth it, I learned quite a lot going through them.

What you saw in the video is a combination of things. The combiner glass has a coating on it that looks redish as you look through it, but the reflections of the cockpit behind you appear green.... Both these effects are modeled in the PMDG 737NGX.

Does the 737NGX have VSD (Vertical Situation Display)?
