A year and a half ago they would have either been working on the MD-11 release, or one of its SP's, and the Jetstream 41. So don't think it was coming in that timeframe. They most likely felt it needed more polish. With a former Chief Pilot on staff, and all of their expertise combined I trust their judgement at this point. If you want to release products that are on par with commercial level software you can accept nothing short of perfection. Which from RSR's discussion of themral dynamics algorythms and such is exactly where they have put the target.
