Dave,Quite honestly, that system is extremely old - I had an Athlon 64x2 4200+ in 2005... Expecting a 6 year old CPU to run cutting edge new stuff may be a bit much. 2GB of RAM is below what I'd consider the minimum, we're recommending 4GB+ and Windows 7 x64. You didn't list your GPU either...Will it run? Probably yes, but FSX's setting will have to be lowered, you won't be running high detail scenery, traffic etc... ie, not optimally. I'm just not sure how you could expect it to on such an old machine is all. Do you have the 400X or MD-11? How do those run for you?

Hi Ryan and thanks for replying. Yes I do have all of PMDG models running in FSX except for the 'Jetstream'. They don't run too badly although if I had a higher spec machine I know would be better. Living on pension credit doesen't allow for upgrades so i am stuck with the one I have. :(My video card is the Nvidea 8800GT (overclocked by factory) and I use an 800watt power supply. My O.S is XPpro.Nick Collett reckons that the NGX runs sweeter than the MD-11, which I also have on both sims because I like it so much, and he said if the MD-11 runs okay on FSX, then the NGX should, because you guys made a better job on it.

Just to clarify here that I am no official source of information! I've said in a couple of these videos that the performance is superb, but have never quoted actual FPS figures. I don't recall ever saying that it runs smoother than the MD-11, that would be going against PMDG's request not to talk specifics on performance, something I would never do.
