September 4, 201114 yr I have just ordered a Warthog I was considering a Saitek or CH products yoke, but after seeing the toyish build quality and feel, it was a done deal with the Warthog. I would prefer to be immersed in a sim, regardless of the plane I am flying with the controller feeling solid and like a proper controller rather than a sloppy piece of plastic in my hands! Sorry to all the Saitek and CH users, please, no offence. I will eventually get my hands on a proper yoke but only when they actually feel like the real thing. I have looked at the VR insight yoke but sadly it does not have any switches on the controller itself. PS. Anyone want to buy a Saitek X52 pro controller! I have seen most of your suggestions except for Flightlink, but sadly thay are all way out of my budget. There seems to be a massive gap between the consumer yokes at around £130 / $200 and the likes of the ones on your list. I'm surprised that a manufacturer has not brought onto the market a really top end yoke, made to the same hi-specs as the Thrustmaster Warthog, but aimed at the keen simmer who, I suspect, would be more than happy to pay twice the cost of the Saitek or CH models, if they felt like it was a quality product. I somehow feel that the Saitek and CH yokes have not really been produced for the serious flight enthusiast, only used by them as there are no real alternatives. November 16, 201114 yr Haven't purchased the NGX yet, wondered if it will work with my PFC Jetliner console, column yoke and rudder peddals. Can the NGX be configured through FSUIPC?Well just an update... I did purchase this wonderful plane and managed to get all the knobs and switches working, but still trying to get the spoilers and flaps setup. It's a joy to manual fly! here's the gear I using:-http://dl.dropbox.com/u/42837564/My%20Flightsim/IMAG0117.jpghttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/42837564/My%20Flightsim/jetliner%2520addii.jpghttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/42837564/My%20Flightsim/jetliner%2520console%2520lower%2520panel%2520illustration%2520flat.jpghttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/42837564/My%20Flightsim/jetliner%2520illustration%2520web.jpg Clive NorthropOEDF

November 18, 201114 yr Logitech G940 + FSFFORCE2 - very good soft for a good pricePreviously used extreme 3D pro. Loved that joy, but it got somewhat old and not so precise. And the pedals and double throttle give much immersion Ján Pitor ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ i5-2500K@4,8GHz, Noctua NH-D14, 4G OCZ RAM 1600MHz, 7-7-7-24, GTX 480, 2xSSD (win 7 64b and sims), G940
November 23, 201114 yr Saitek X52 Pro here.I also play a lot of racing games so I have a Logitech G25 steering wheel permanently attached to my desk, which gives me no spare room to attach a yoke and it would be too much of a PITA to move everything around if I switch back and forth from FSX to racing.I do however have configured FSUIPC to be able to use my G25 pedal set (which features three pedals) as rudder and brake input. So the gas and clutch pedals act as right and left rudder, and the brake pedal serves as, well, brakes...Not ideal but it does the trick for me, and saves me money and space by not having to buy another pedal set. November 23, 201114 yr I'm using the Logitech G940 set. Nice priced stuff and works fine but not perfect tough. I am thinking of buying a Saitek yoke as a addition to the 737... Maarten Schot PMDG 748 - PMDG JS4100 - PMDG MD-11 - PMDG 737 9800-7600 NGX GEX - UTX - REX2.0
November 23, 201114 yr Hehe Im still using my microsoft sidewinder (mark 2 usb) with full force feedback with the aid of fsforce. Why microsoft stopped making them I dont know. It was one thing they were good at. Solid heavy, well built, and really good force feedback. Wouldnt like to lose it. If you see one on ebay, grab it.+1Joystick = Airbus same asMechanical centered (by springs) or uncentered (no centering functions) yokes = gameYoke or joysticks will be unreal at the same way until force feedback. That seems to be the perfect solution:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NurOOfmts0BUT IT COST TOO MUCH :( Regards Andrea Daviero

November 24, 201114 yr I just got a full set of Saitek awesomeness (yoke, quadrants, pedals) + Logitech Extreme Pro 3D. Tried Saitek set, but damn it is soooooooo hard for me to adjust for me after playing so long with gamepad. Also I think I'm doing it wrong. I didn't install any drivers from CD or anything. Also does that yoke has a force feedback? Dmitrij Nazarenko

For the price it is a fantastic joystick and I never had any problems with it when flying the NGX. In fact, I think I had some of my best landings with that joystick. Christopher Veltri (CYQT)
