September 25, 201114 yr The approach pitch attitude is fixed (but now less engine n1 is used on approach but this will probably be corrected in sp1). As for the flare, it is now correct at 4-5 degrees, but, I've only done 1 landing, it is basically the same as before in that you put the nose 2-3 degrees up and you shouldnt float that much. This is the same as it was before, but in my opinion, the problem wasn't the flare but the approach pitch attitude as before the hotfix I use to flare about 2 degrees the same and not used to float. Got me confused now. Your saying when you flare now you can do 4-5 degrees? Wonder if they still using the unreliable speed tables even though they fixed the flare? If thats the case I will just continue to use VREF plus the winds without the +5 Is cockpit sharing in MP possible ?Thank you! No and I wouldn't count on it for SP1 either, they probably have too many other things to work on such as getting the 600/700 series ready for release. Due to the fact, that 90 % of the reportet bugs are caused by inability of the self-appointed 737 Pilots I be afraid thatwe will see a dramatic inrcease of problems for those who have not any problems with the NGX RTM - Version (including myself). To avoid any problems i will refuse also the upcoming SP1 and also the 600/700.Why shall I fix something when there is nothing to fix? Have fun being limited then, because without SP1 you will not be able to use any of the future NGX expansion packs, and you will never have the first officers terrain or any other goodies they add later. September 25, 201114 yr Hi James. I am following this thread on editing the aircraft.cfg files to backup liveries or deleting the cfg files altogether before installing the latest hotfix. I just seem unable to track down the aircraft.cfg files. The manual refers to fsxroot/PDMG/PDMG 737 NGX/Aircraft but I can't find that either!! Must be me I know but assistance gladly received. Thanks for the advice on FSX location. I think I will leave well alone.John James. I have at least tracked down the FSXroot etc ...... but that appears only to be related to the livery manager and associated files and not to "aircraft".cfg filesJohngo to computer, program files x86, microsoft games, microsoft flight simulator x ,sim objects, airplanes, pmdg737ngx.aircraft cfg. is that what you mean? james FSX root folder is in the hidden place you have to tick the box to show the folders, click start enter folders in the search, click folder options show all folders then click on c drive then users then your name then appdata, roaming, mircosoft then FSX i was told that this is your fsx root folder and that a root folder is the one with the exe in it? james. {FACTORY STD SPEC}HP ELITE i7 [email protected] 64bit. 8gb RAM. 896 MBNvida GTX260. September 25, 201114 yr I am wondering what the documented vs. undocumented changes are in reference to?Exactly my question... Would kinda make it easier what to look for...
September 25, 201114 yr Roman- To be brutally clear: This is not a bug. the IVAP client is using FSUIPC, and we do not intend to push data through any source other than simconnect. Until/unless the IVAP application can be operated through simconnect without using FSUIPC, no- we won't be fixing that.Hi Robert, I'm sorry but I'm not agree with you about IVAP for FSX, it doesn't need FSUIPC. Only IVAP for FS2004 does it but this is not a part for the NGX.I'll get in touch with Kenny Moens and Filip who are the main developers of IVAP. Maybe one of them already contacted you. Best regards. Peter Belgium Flightsimulator is not a simulation, it's a way of life ...

September 25, 201114 yr Mine has been fine without a single issue whatsoever from the first download on release day!! Been a pure dream to fly...a bit nervous about altering anything:) Simon
September 25, 201114 yr I'm still on the fence also with this "hotfix". I don't seem to have the problems that this is supposed to alleviate, if any. The more I read the more confused I get about the install. And what is RTM version?.

If thats the case I will just continue to use VREF plus the winds without the +5Yes, the approach attitude is about 2 degrees now, and the flare attitude is about 5 degrees now. The only thing that seems to be off now is that the engine n1 on approach is at around 45-50%, which is much lower than it was before. But RSR said this was a kind of beta hotfix, so I guess this is an intermediate result of pmdg fixing the approach attitude. Alfredo Terrero
September 25, 201114 yr I think the correct way to go about this is to do a complete PMDG 737 NGX, uninstall, then install base and latest hotfix.I think to do otherwise is making it harder for PMDG.Your just putting too many unknowns into the program. September 25, 201114 yr After installing the 2987 hotfix I flew from EHAM (Amsterdam) to LPPT (Lisbon) without a single panel freeze. Seems like the hotfix fixed something!Great work PMDG!
