November 29, 201114 yr Whats with the black tape and cable? Hangar tests of the hard points release system. Notice the extension cord plugged into the outlet on the wall. It's not that the Navy can't afford duct tape, we use black electrical tape so it doesn't mess up the new paint job.Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
November 29, 201114 yr With 3M making it all, there really is no money to be saved anyways. Lol. William Sequeira
November 30, 201114 yr I Really cannot understand....You are all so happy with the NGX, perfect and so on, but still waiting for SP1b, asking for release dates, downloading just minutes after the release, most of you chenged from FS9 version to the new NGX, but, with both you are so happy that seems that asking (not pretending) improvements is something wrong, is someting bad, is something that must be avoided. The reason for you is that is not for professional use, it is for desktop usage, it doesn't need to be exactly as the real one.Ok, if so, I'll ask you another time, why there is a pressurization control? Why there are manual and alternate features? Why failures? Why sturtup delay for DUs? Why an APU? Why an oxygen system? Why the ground call and HILOW CHIME....PMDG made them to get as close as possible to the real, and made an SP1 plus a coming SP1b with 340 fixes, fixes that include wrong things fixed, things that normally were not visible as most of you found it perfect from the day it was released...WHAT IS WRONG ABOUT ASKING FOR IMPROVEMENTS? I'm not targeting anyone with a gun needing fixes, I'm not telling it is a professional simulator, I'm not asking to implement new or optional features, I'm not asking for an ACARS for example, I'm asking, if possible, to correct things that are wrongly simulated.IT IS SO BAD ASKING FOR A BETTER PLANE?OK, OK. We're all very impressed with how much you know about the NG. Apologies if most are mere mortals. David Porrett
November 30, 201114 yr OK, OK. We're all very impressed with how much you know about the NG. Apologies if most are mere mortals. After that, I hope that no other will post any suggestion on how to improve the product FOR ALL THE COMMUNITY, all must read how people like you are approaching to positive suggestions on a product that YOU use, the question about why are you reading a post on a SP1b when you don't want it, is always present...I don't want to use bad words for you, but just imagine... Regards Andrea Daviero
November 30, 201114 yr I really can't see the reason why people keep harrassing someone who suggested some improvements in a very positive and respectful manner. If those suggestions are unreasonable/unrealistic/irrational to the developers, they will say so or may even just ignore them. That's simple as that. I am with you on this davierosoft, even though I don't think your suggestions are very necessary. I don't understand why people are disrespectful to other people's opinions. November 30, 201114 yr Thanks Doruks, you understood what I'm doing, and that I'm not pretending (as I told, never send a ticket about them).Just asking, with the hope of an even better simulation. Regards Andrea Daviero
November 30, 201114 yr I just don't understand the attacks on people for voicing their opinion on the state of the simulated aircraft, anyway, as long as nobody is demanding a change, or lack thereof. Having an opinion about the necessity of a proposed change is a different matter, but there's no reason not to be respectful towards each other. Ultimately, we're all here because of a shared interest, a hobby, even if some of us are also professionals in the field of aviation. So, kids, play nice, please!
November 30, 201114 yr Donut? Bovril?Marmite. I still eat it. I get it in Fullerton or Torrance Alex Cadle
November 30, 201114 yr Great news, Can not wait for the 777, i can trust that PMDG will once again deliver a great product. Take your time Best Regards Adib Afraj
December 1, 201114 yr Great news indeed and looking forward to the ER. Can you elaborate on that. Meaning, I know the ER is available on the 700 and 900 only, but on the 900 it's standard. So how is the NGX 900 modeled now? Is it ER already? I've been flying mostly the 600,700 and a little bit of the 800 to notice the 900 yet.The experience thus far has been amazing, love every minute flying these airplanes. Michel.

Michel. The -900ER is standard now. It wasn't always that way, and there are plain -900's out there. They weren't very popular due to the exit configuration limiting the number of seats that could be put on the plane. The 900ER has an extra set of emergency exits, allowing for more seats (and range) than the plain 900.The -900 in the NGX is the plain -900. The 900ER will come with the ER pack. Steve Caffey
December 1, 201114 yr Thanks Steven, will the ER be part of the SP1b or will it be a separate package to add on? And yes, I just found some obscure reference to the plain 900. most info out there is for the 900ER. Michel.

Michel.Unfortunately I bet it's going to be in the ER package, more $$$'s for PMDG, won't be buying anymore NGX stuff personally, I got my 6700 :D :( Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! Also the BBJ and military variants will most likely each be separate packages. Steve Caffey
