Woah!!!!!!! This is fantastic news! I am ecstatic on all fronts. I had been away for a week and I come back to this! A great day it is indeed for the entire simulation community (not to mention myself hehe).I cannot wait until more information and hopefully a formal post by RSR in the forums are released in the coming hours or days. Now all we can do is sit back and watch as the many newbies come in and ask about release dates... :( Thank you Tom (and everyone else on the forums today) for the update!

Best regards, happy flying,

Wallace

Just a couple things (I have to leave for the day in a sec):1. Yes, the 744 v 2.0 is Secret Project #2. It's being made in parallel with the 777. A -8 will be made as the expansion and it'll be the full deal with cockpit/systems differences, FDE/engine modelling etc, not just the visual model and sound.2. I actually have an alpha version of the 777 already running here right now, yes.I'll let RSR tell you all more when he gets back from the convention (I assume tonight).
I am going to print this post out and hang it on my wall! The 777 is (chock, gasp) already running on Ryan's computer. Wow!!--------------------Also, I will be happy to pay full price for the 747v.2. I will also get some manuals from Precision Manuals, when I order it.

fsxkid: Given the birth problems with NGX training they have... I would be afraid so...

This is beautiful news! AND it looks like they're a lot farther along on the 777 than many people thought! I see the position initialize page on the fmc in one of the pics! Looks amazing guys! Looks like I'm gonna have to start pinching the pennies I've been waiting for that 777!

Oh god, no, no no!Not another 747!What has happened to imagination, why on Earth do we need "another" 747 when there are so many fascinating aircraft to simulate?Very disappointed! :(
Please show me a 747-400 for FSX that even comes close to the old PMDG 747. They are just making an updated version of an existing product, and considering the regal nature of the Queen of the Skies, it is deserving of the "NGX" treatment.

As i know new version of 747-4/8 will release after 777. May i know will the external hardware(e.g. MCP controller and CDU/FMC) will still work on re-worked 747 v2.0 ? As many user invest alot of hardware on 747. Please consider it when develop the new 747 v2.0. Thanks
