March 28, 201214 yr So am I to assume there isn't going to be a 200 or 200ER?? I find it kind of strange they go for the 200LR first which hasn't been that great of a seller in RW (~54 deliveries) while the 200/200ER have 10 times as many (~500 deliveries). The 300ER I understand since it has taken the lead in 777 sales, but I don't get the 200LR over the 200/200ER... Adam Hill
March 28, 201214 yr I gather that PMDG have easier access to the LR than the other versions, hence they are doing that first. Will Wilson
March 28, 201214 yr Tabs, explained some of reasons why "LR", and not "200ER". I think its about range too, because they will make -300er which have similar range as -200ER so they simply want to offer us the greatest range.EDIT: typo Lj. March 28, 201214 yr Tabs or Robert, or any other at PMDG, are there any possibilities for the ER / ERF / D / M versions of the 747?

HOWEVER, I for one along with others will be devestated if the 200er is significantly delayed. Think of those RR's on the 777 :DTabs, explained some of reasons why "LR", and not "200ER". How will I accurately fly the transcon US flights with no 200ER?? Adam Hill
March 28, 201214 yr Im a little confused about the new 747 releases... I understand the 747-400 will be released first. Then will the 747-8 be a completely new "base" package, or will it be an expansion pack to the 747-400?Thanks <---------------> Mike Murawski

March 28, 201214 yr So apparently there's another project besides the 777, 747, DC-6, and Dash 8. Supposedly it will surprise us coming from PMDG. I'm guessing either an MD-80 or MD-90 or older Boeing jet. Would really love the 767 though. March 28, 201214 yr Didn't you see/tell he definitely doesn't want to do an Airbus???If that is not obvious than I don't know what is.He just wants to keep things secret, as they always do. He specifically said that the project that comes afterwards will surprise us. Well, knowing that it probably won't be a classic (because they don't sell that well), it's probably gonna be an Airbus. I mean, of course it's not gonna be as accurately modeled as their Boeing fleet, but it would still be far more accurate than any other developer has accomplished so far. Arjen Vandervelde
