After all air file of CLS/JF BAE 146 isn't bad at all, by just changing to aileron_effectiveness = 4.0

rudder_effectiveness = 3.0 seemed to make aircraft fly really well. Now it turns like I would expect it to turn based on IRL videos and other jets, and also rudder has effect.

How can you tell what type of turns, to what degree, etc. an airplane can make just by a video with a camera out the side window?

Its not about degree but how quickly it happens. Before tweaking it took full left/right yoke to make planes bank angle to increase slowly, quicker changes seemed to be impossible.

Gentleman this topic is not about cls be so kind to start a new one ;-)

Agreed, I actually asked a question about the product in title (imagine that) and it got put underwater by all the stuff afterwards. I still await an answer.

I too wish this topic would get back on track as I am on the fence about this product or the Aerosoft Extended. I like the look of this one better but would like to hear and see a lot more pictures videos and reviews.

Not debates on of topic subjects.

Eric,

I am using the Saitek Pro Cessna yoke and throttles and I have them calibrated through FSUIPC and it works great for me.

Nortmar,

You mentioned:

"Why are you sceptical? I have provided responses on numerous forums whenever a question has been asked about the product. We don't intentionally include bugs or inaccuracies in products (who would?). A lack of skill or effort? Seems very unfair, baseless and a bit of an odd statement to be honest..."

As Flavio previously mentioned:

"Talked with BBS already about a 737-200 patch some time ago, and they said that it´s not with them. Even that they are the developers of it, they say it´s Just Flight problem. So, i think we can forget about any patch for it and go fly something else."

Is this true?

As it is our product, we are responsible for instructing the developers what needs to be fixed/changed and when. As I am sure you can imagine, developers are contractually obligated to provided 'bug-free' software. Therefore, without getting into any contractual details or discussion on our professional relationships with developers, the whole process - including the development of updates/service packs - is a partnership with equal responsibility for the end product and the developers side of the partnership doesn't finish when a product is released.

We don't ignore customers, forget about released products that have issues etc etc. No FS developer is in the business of deliberately upsetting or failing its customers, but with most development teams being made up of no more than 2-3 people, there will always be a balancing act between development of new products and updating existing products. FS products do not create massive revenues and small teams such as BBS need to survive, there just isn't the same level of resources and flexibility that you'd get with larger development teams in other industries.

If you are having an issue with the 737, please report it using the link I posted earlier.

After each day flying BBS 'buses and after each update, i think the Aerosoft version will be by far the best until FSL releases their A320. I trust FSL will be an incredible product (and i hope i'm not mistaken), plus they're making the whole family (318 319 320 321) which makes it a complete product and much more interesting than the rest of the competitors.

Until then the "incomplete" family by Aerosoft will do, i completely lost faith on BBS - They just can't make the aircraft descend properly and it doesn't even draw the SIDs and STARs yet... Come on.

It descends properly here. Not sure why it does not work for you. Awhile back the "take off " page did not show for me

when on the ground but I solved it by first loading the trike, placing it at my airport of choice and then loading the bus. It then worked. Try that who knows..the plane still has bugs but they are being taken care of.Fingers crossed.

The A319 and A321 will follow the A320. I doubt you'll see the A318 from us, we'll probably shift focus to the A330

I'm not sure why it doesn't work for me either. It's either descending at 6000ft/min completely overshooting the "yoyo" or compensating with the engines for speed and yet again overshooting the "yoyo". I have the CDU completely programmed, it's descending in managed mode (i know how to handle the buses) and yet it fails.

Thank you for the information. I would love to see the A318 but ok, i can live with the Wilco A318 in exchange for the "ZOMG!!" A330 series

Thanks again!

I appreciate your follow up, thanks.

I (and other pilots) do have issues that have been reported and I am sure you are aware of them.

The expectation was a Service Pack to correct them.

****

I sent an e-mail to JF Tech support on 3-9-12.

It was not answered, so here is a copy of it:

****

Some switches that should be "spring loaded" to automatically return after clicking them are normal click on click off switches.

APY start and APU Gens.

I verified this for another pilot who asked for further information on problems:

2D:

Window heat switches work but no indicator lights.

Test switch does not work .. in fact, I think the switch itself is missing

VC:

Window heat switches work but no indicator lights.

Test switch works but no indicator light.

****

Further, problems initially reported on the AVSIM FSX forum (see link below) for the BB737-200 should have resulted in a Service Pack (IMO, by now 8-10-12).

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/364585-new-boeing-737-200-out-382012/

Additionally, I sent this to Jf Tech support on 3-15-12:

FSX crashes loading JF737.

I was told to do this:

Please open this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Justflight 737-200Adv\panel

Within that folder is a file called jf_sound.gau. Please rename that file to jf_sound_backup.gau:

This fixed the loading problem but leaving this file out caused other problems ... like the trim wheel does not work.

So, I think there is still some problems here.

I was not told what to do next.

At this point I assume a Service Pack will correct these and other problems mentioned above.

But no word from JF or BB?

Best Regards,

Vaughan Martell  PP-ASEL KDTW

Hello! From my part, i sent an email to JF with a list of problems that i detected too right after the release of the plane and the answer was "Thanks ... will send the list to the developers". But that was the last mention of the issues. They are pretty much the same vonmar listed above plus some panel light issues, pitot heat, ap not working properly, crazy trim wheel that don´t stop all the flight with ap on and the sound package.

I just want to apologize to the other guys, i know it´s an airbus topic. It´s just that some conversation with the publisher was developed in here and i had to answer. No more offtopic from my part. Sorry!

Fantastic! Is the A340 also being considered, by any chance..?
