I'm excited about this one. It looks mighy impressive but I am holding off until I hear feedback on fps. There is a heck of a lot of buildings in the scenery which is awesome but could be a massive fps drain.

Based on the shots, seems like there might not be any night lighting. As a former Los Angeles resident who did flight training out of KLGB, this is likely a must-have even without night-lighting.

Mmm, may come in handy to counteract my current 'flat' situation. Thanks for the HU, I'll put this on my list since it may pair nicely with the FSDT airport I run.

While I am a HUGE fan of photoscenery and have done plenty myself, their answers for lack of night lighting (and seasons) are just excuses for not taking the effort to make a complete package IMO. I am very impressed with all their city packages, but the lack of nightlighting (other than vegas) makes it a no go for me as i really like flying at dusk and a flight around LA at dusk with quality photoreal and nightlighting would be a sight to see.. Plus, looking at the .KMZ file for LA, there are plenty of gaps between the photoreal parts which unless you are using another photoreal package should look kinda odd.

Agreed, I think that leaving out night lighting was a bad idea for a place like L.A. I know they say that the US Cities series are supposed to be priced reflecting the lack of time/effort required to create night lighting but frankly, I would rather pay an extra $10 and have the night lighting making it a complete package. Flying at dusk in L.A. is a must. Sadly here it will be in darkness. If fps are okay (looking for feedback on this), I will still buy it for sure. It really looks impressive from the screenshots.

I really want this bad..but I am now worried about OOM which has now become my malady.

Hmmmm....

Ah its just $21..going to get it

No night lighting, no sale. I dislike these types of sceneries due to the continued lack of night textures. I for one would pay extra to have the other 12 hours of the day included.

My sentiments exactly.

Flying into any scenery during the evening and arriving to a black-out ruins the immersion factor.

No Seasons + No Night Lights is a no go for me, sorry Aerosoft...I would have loved Detroit too...o well.

What?! They are too "nice" to the sim community to give it away for free! Any idea when that one is coming?

According to there forum/developer, they are "half-way" done DTW. I CANNOT WAIT to make a flight from CYYZ (Oryxsim) - KDTW in the Majestic Q400, at night, Christmas eve when its snowing!

What is special about KDTW? Am I missing something? I've been to detroit. its a deserted city left to die. and nothing special about the airport. It may as well be Timbanktu. :P

If I am asked to nominate 10 boring airports, I may nominate KDTW. :)
