FSL A320

Featured Replies

Haha okay. Will be interesting to see yet another attempt at an A320.. Meanwhile I'll overtake you all with 230,000lbs of thrust! B) :Peace: :LMAO:

It's very unlikely this A320 will turn out anything less than one of the best simulated aircraft for FSX, after all the guy in charge was the lead developer for PMDG and responsible for the PMDG MD-11.

I understand, but they would not have to go into detail.

Just to stir you up a bit more...

I'm 55, been simming since before many of you were born. Love Airbus.

But deleted Airbus extended within a few hours of installation.

There's no way any sensible person would expect such a product to compete with the FSL Airbus. The time, effort, talent, and technology thats gone into the FSL Airbus is phenomenal!

Well I've been simming since before Pontius was a Pilot, and I've also ditched the Aerosoft bus.

Fair play to them. It's ok and looks very nice, but it's a bit too buggy for my taste.

I would have thought the heat is off FSL a bit now, as they don't really have any opposition left. I'm only hoping it'll run ok on my system, which is long overdue for replacement. But if not, this may be the perfect excuse for an upgrade.

There will be only three commercial aircraft types in my fsx hangar. PMDG 737 & 777 series and the FSL A320 series. IMHO all the rest are a waste of time and money for those that want maximum realism. But to each their own.

You have been told a thousands times by everyone possible, that if you have any difficulties with a particular product you must go to the developer's website and seek assitance.. #(2) You need to learn to fly the a/c..don't expect others will do it for you.

Your posts are hilarious, that's the only reason why i keep replying to you. Can't wait for the next one, keep it up!

I'm struck by the fact that nobody asked about wingflex so far. ^_^

Because people waiting for this A320 are serious simmers who know A320 wings are as stiff as concrete :P

Bit of a silly statement, the PMDG MD-11 is as good as the NGX when it comes to system simulation, the FSL Concorde is superb and the FlyTheMaddog is excellent.

Indeed, especially Leonardo maddog is better than 737NGX as a system simulation, simulates hot starts, circuit breakers etc. Of course it's graphically not as good but so what?

And the Majestic Q400!!!

On topic though I am seriously looking forward to the FSL A320

I was referring to MY hangar and MY opinion only. The Leonardo sounds like a good one but I prefer glass for commercial. I just bought the Duke Turbine anf belueve tgat gives me my fill of a non glass cockpit.

Lol. That bus has been parked in the desert for a long time already.

I bet it's because you don't know how to drive it..Learn and you shall see. Got questions-Ask! Bashing one product will NOT make the other better.

*sigh* The reason it's parked is because it isn't interesting to fly. The AXE looks good, but that's it.

And the Majestic Q400!!!

Oh forgot this too, it seems to be something better than all PMDG products so far combined together.

The NDA we have in place prohibits our team from saying anything.

That may lead to a difficult decision for FSL if and when BBS reaches v1.0. I've been impressed with what I've seen so far from FSL, but if BBS' 320 does what it claims to do, FSL may well have to consider steps to prevent that BBS takes the market ...

Before Pontius Pilot!!!!!

My god Ian, did you mean Pontius Pilote. So you were born prior to AD 26. :shok: :shok: :shok: :shok:

Give us the secret. Was it calorie restriction? Some kind of genetic fluke? Or are you an alien? :P

Your opinion was also that all except the ones in your "hanger" are a waste of money and not as good - which might be your opinion, but you'd be wrong. I was merely pointing out that your view that nothing comes close to the NGX/777/A320 is totally incorrect.

To be fair to PMDG, it is very difficult to get a hot start in the 73NG.
