Airbus X Extended Released

My throttles will not move. I use FSUIPC for throttle cotrol.

This was as issue from the start. I had serious throttle issues that never got solved. However, if you head to the AS forums, there is a great deal on info on this subject. I understand the fixes/workarounds work for most folk.

But it doesn't affect all users, right?

My Xtended install has been nearly flawless. I am really enjoying this bird.

One thing that helped me tremendously was backing up my fsx.cfg then letting FSX rewrite a new one of which I redid my edits. I haven't had a CTD since doing so. The patches/hotfixes went just fine. I previously had CTD's when approaching the FAF and disconnecting the A/P. I've done a dozen flights with no issues.

Cute.

Now try to fly laterally a SID/STAR/approach which includes arcs or radial/heading interceptions. If you don't intervene and let the autopilot have its way, you will end up on the side of the nearest mountain, that the correct LNAV course (that the aircraft does not follow) is plotted to avoid.

Offensive.

Chances are, your speed is too high that increases the turn radius for the curve to even make it. In real life, ATC would have slowed you down.

I think I've just been banned from Aerosoft forum after expressing my opinion about this aircraft in the "What customer think" thread...

I didn't use any expletive, nor irony nor sarcasm.

I didn't mention any other software house that are making an Airbus for FSX as well

Maybe the thread title is misleading: it sould be "What customer think" (only positive comments)

Joshua, sometimes it's hard to listen, but this happens at 160KIAS or at 300KIAS. It's a NAVIGATION issue, not a "didn't follow flight path because of speed" issue.

Happens all the time on the most varied approaches. Navigating to coordinates doesn't work as well. Going to 3820N in a route from Portugal to Azores islands causes the Airbus to fly north.

Ehh, FYI, I did not ban you. I am trying to find who banned you.

It seems like the system automatically banned people with too much negative reputation.

Installed 2 weeks ago.

No crashes, couple of issues when intercepting localiser as already said and rotation seems slow and sometime a few flightplan issues which I am sure will be sorted.

But overall works fine for me and IMO this is a good add on worth buying.

I hope it's an error..as I don't mind if I have -35 or +100

I know coordinates dont work well. But I have very little LNAV issues. Can you point to me which thread has the issues you state in there?

No chances.

The speed is most of the times 180 or 170 or 165 or 150 knots.

And I have flown these SIDs/STARs/approaches many times with other aircraft of comparable engine power and total mass (weight), such as PMDG 737NGX or the Leonardo Maddog MD-82, at the same speeds. They fly the routes flawlessly.

Your Airbus cannot (yet) handle laterally (in managed LNAV) any route that has radials and heading interceptions in it.

And it is evident even from the moment of flight planning at your origin airport. It cannot draw correctly any such SID/STAR/approach on the ND (either map or flight plan). And as it always follows what it draws (as it should be), it follows a DANGEROUS route completely off-path.

Admit it at last.

This is not the Aerosoft forum where you simply ban anyone who says and backs up true (but undesirable for Aerosoft) facts.

Have you made a post/thread on the forum about that? I will PERSONALLY BE ON HAND to solve this.

Seriously, this is insulting and offensive. I personally DONT BAN PEOPLE JUST BECAUSE I AM AGAINST THEM. My job is a developer. and that is to fix and answer to people. I dont bother with the political stuff.

Hi Joshua,

I lost it in the middle of so many threads in the forum but it's easy to find one of the issues by departing from Malaga (LEMG) and using the SVL2H SID departing from RWY 13. There are ND drawing issues and A/C will not follow the SID.
