January 24, 201313 yr I don't mind buying Carenado aircraft for their visuals--most Carenado fans appreciate them for what they do well. I wish they would stick to steam gauge aircraft--I think modelling a complex glass cockpit is not their niche. John, I think we're in perfect agreement here. I just hate seeing Carenado knocked as ONLY being about good visuals when their recent flight modeling is so good. Systems may still be a bit hit or miss and I agree about the whole analog thing, but they're more than just (and I SO hate this cliche) "flying textures". Scott
January 24, 201313 yr Author I've had a couple of minutes to play with it and apart from the G1000, its a fun airplane to fly although it does seem sensitive to pitch but that could just be my joystick. The best thing about the SR22, other than it being gorgeous is that Carenado can finally stop messing around with it and focus on what I really want, the TBM 850 . January 24, 201313 yr Hmmmm, it may be an option... looking at their web site. Not sure though. I'm having a weird issue. My PFD has the same engine monitor as the MFD. In their screenshots at the site I don't see this engine monitor on the PFD (I think that's how it's supposed to be) Here's theirs and mine: Is this a setting buried somewhere in the MFD pages? I believe you can change this... let me check
January 24, 201313 yr A2A will have accu-simed C172 and Cherokee out this year. Wow.... The thought of an A2A C172 makes my mouth water....

I figured it out, the button that says display backup gets rid of the engine data on the PFD! Its between the two screens.
January 24, 201313 yr Can we use the Reality xp on this aircraft and fly the WAAS approach coupled to its auto pilot? Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
January 24, 201313 yr Ok got it, not bad, I'm liking it much more than the 182. Much smoother on my rig than the 182. Textures are super. Functionality wise for myself not a big deal since I use Simaonics G1000 and Foreflight on my iPad and iPod. Thinking of getting the Flight1 Student G1000 simulator, and it seems like this might be a nice model to use with it. Chris Chris Strobel KSNA
January 24, 201313 yr I wish that the TBM won't have this G1000 version but rather a setup with Garmin GNS which can be replaced with the RXP gauges. These gauges make every GA Addon shine. The visual quality of Carenado, paired with a good flight model and the RXP GNS is a fantastic and immersive experience (I.e. the C337 or the KingAir and P46T)

Didn't have time last night to dig into configuration, but a quick scan of the manual does suggest there are a variety of PFD/MFD config options, I'd start there.

January 24, 201313 yr Moderator Is this a setting buried somewhere in the MFD pages? Press the big red button between the PFD/MFD... Maybe they should have labled it "EASY" instead of "Display Backup"... Fr.
