February 4, 201313 yr Hi, I'm not sure if this is already covered, sorry for that, but as the title says, can I use my Android tablet for displaying the default FSX GPS? I'm not referring to a moving map solution necessarily. Many thanks, Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 Alexander Colka
March 4, 201313 yr I just recently got an iPad also. I'd like to hear of some apps also for tablets with FSX. Someone needs to compile a list of what's out there or is there one already?
March 4, 201313 yr I asked a similar question a week or more ago, to find out if I can send my EFB-created route plan to an Android, and got no repsonse. So, this will be interesting to follow. Rick Almeida

March 4, 201313 yr Hi, You can use your android tablet for a free moving map app. Look for "FsMovMap" on Play Store. It uses Google Maps. Run Fsx, start the FsMovMap server on your PC and FsMovMap on the tablet. Hugo
March 4, 201313 yr I had posted a few links on another thread, but was also not sure if there was any interest. http://appadvice.com...rs-for-the-ipad http://fswidgets.com/shop/index.php https://www.remoteflight.net/ http://ipadpilotnews...n-flight-sim-x/ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.baltazar.XPlaneRemotePlus&hl=en We are all connected..... March 4, 201313 yr Yes you can I have Nexus 7 with Garmin Pilot; Naviator and AviationMaps installed. These are real EFB's that I use in a real airplane, but also use with FSX to stay current with their features. If this is what you're looking for I will be more than happy to share how to do it. But be warned it's not for the faint in heart...there's a lot of steps and things to buy (if you don't already have them)...but once its set up it will always work and it works great! -Ray
March 4, 201313 yr @Ray How can I display my AivlaSoft EFB to my Android? I want to save haveing to switch desktops just to check my routing. Rick Almeida
March 4, 201313 yr Moderator So far, the only Android apps I've heard of are the ones Devon & Hugo mentioned, but they're moving maps only. I don't think anyone's come up with one utilizing the Default FS 9 or FSX GPS yet.
March 4, 201313 yr The Avsim review of the RemoteFlight for IOS products should be published any day now. I was especially impressed with all of the apps. It has been in the pipeline for more than a month now. The Avsim review of FSWidgets QuickPlan for iPad can be found here: http://forum.avsim.net/page/index.html/_/reviews/quickplan-for-ipad-and-quickplan-for-windows-r1087 Ray When Pigs Fly . March 4, 201313 yr You can use iDisplay or AirDisplay to have the Android tablet as a second monitor (wireless) and drag an undocked FSX window over to that monitor. That way you display anything that FSX can show in a window, on your Android tablet. Here an example of a gauge six pack on the tablet.. Bert
March 4, 201313 yr I remember reading in pc pilot mag about an app designed by one of there flight sim gurus that worked on the iPad & android device , when I get time I will rifle through my collection & post here what it was called. <p> Paul Sleight
March 5, 201313 yr Quick Plan is brilliant....love the way it can be linked to Dropbox. Create plans anywhere, anytime and upload. Next time you are on your machine you can collect and install, MAGIC. Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
