April 16, 201313 yr If you want a yoke at $300-$400 it wont look or feel anything like this. From the pictures and the description you can tell what the price would roughly be before it was even announced. When I said 'reasonable' I was referring to this yoke in comparison with other yokes of a similar build quality. PFC, etc. Im sure someone could come out with a yoke in a lower price point but it was clear from the start in my mind that it would not be this one! I would love one of these or one of the PFC yokes but Im not prepared to spend the $. Happy with my Saitek for the cost involved. Im not going to complain about these guys charging what they do though. Thats upto them. They clearly have a business model that works for them. April 16, 201313 yr Exactly Glenn, very well said. Anyone who thought they were going to release a yoke like this at Go-Flight quality levels for CHEAPER than their TQ was way off base. I actually expected this to be $1000+ $750 based on quality, functionality, features seems spot on. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
April 16, 201313 yr I've been putting off replacing my CH Eclipse due to worn out pots - after 5 years regular use I cannot complain. I was hoping the GoFlight yoke would target the market between CH/Saitek and PFC. It would seem their market research told them to target PFC buyers and not CH/Saitek buyers. I'm unsure also about those 'feet' poking out the bottom. It's not clear how/if exactly the yoke can be firmly table-mounted. Presumably there will be a way. John John

April 16, 201313 yr I am disappointed that GF are aiming for the higher end of the market. there is nothing between a $100 Saitek and a $750 GF :(
April 16, 201313 yr Commercial Member Now that I have seen the price, this is the one I am considering should I decide to step up, http://flypfc.com/?/products/yokes/cirrus-beech-yoke1/, but I have seen some really good articles on how to modify your Saitek to a smooth running machine which I would probably try first. I think GF would have had hit one out of the park if they offer this at somethng like $499. Would have been a natural progression for a simmer who wanted to take a step up from Saitek of CH. April 16, 201313 yr A few of these in place of the plaastic bearing in the saitek yoke... Regards Luke M
April 16, 201313 yr I'm not surprised that the price is $750 based on how much I paid for my GF TQ-6 throttle quadrant. MSFS

April 17, 201313 yr Looking from the photos it seems that the metal Shaft is too short for precision controlling of the elevators. I had a Yoke once that had this minimal zone of movement for the elevator, it was horrible to fly any plane with that thing. It needs to have a nice range. It sure would be a problem for people to mount over their desk, since it needs a lot of space, but it would make flying anything so much better! Alexis Mefano
April 17, 201313 yr Some pics of it in action; flight simulator around $ 4000? captains ratty chair .50c  ZORAN
