as I mentioned earlier in another thread, I have a feeling that owners of Xplane 10 will maybe see a conversion of the popular FSX 737 NGX ported over or a new Boeing 787 Secret Project that will be announced very soon :lol: The NGX made a lot of profit and if I were an employee at PMDG, I would sure try to release it on another platform to make more profit.  What do you guys/gals think of our SOON TO BE RELEASED XP10 Payware?  I bought it for FSX and I will buy it again for xpx64 :good:

I have had this discussion before on x-plane forums.  I agree with you I think it will be the NGX that gets converted.    A lot of X-planers doubt PMDG can pull off a release like that, some people on x-pilot.com even think that PMDg will do a GA plane first..  :rolleyes:

I'm hoping that it will be the 737NG but more likely it will be a port of their 777 or 747 which are newer.

Didn't the say "the very best airplane for x-plane"? Well we have already some cool stuff, hence they must make a huge effort, unless they bring a smaller GA plane.

i honestly thing its the T7. PMDG had said something about how they are working with a new software that will let them port to other sims much easier. i think the triple 7 would be it

I really hope it is the 777. I don't like ramzzess 777 for X-Plane much. The cockpit looks horrible, even after the 1.4 update. I'm hoping PMDG will start jumping on the X-Plane bandwagon soon. We really need high quality planes with amazing detail. Thank god Carenado is there, now we need PMDG.

I don't own the 777 but from what I've heard and seen, I think 'horrible' might be too strong a word.

I doubt they'd do the 777 as their inaugural X-Plane offering. I think they have a little more class than that. As newcomers to X-Plane, the last thing they'd want to do is ###### off the current developers by snatching marketshare. My guess is either a 737, since there is no commercial level NG available (mad props to the x737 guys for an excellent freeware, but it's still needs some work to rise to the level of a commercial product). IXEG is doing the classic series, but I believe there's room in the marketplace for both the old and new.

 

The other option would be the 747, and for the same reason. Nothing commercial-level floating around in the X-Plane'osphere.
