So, whats being developed for FSX thats got you interested?

Featured Replies

Just looking around and to me, it seems that not much of interest is being developed for FSX.

We've got the PMDG 777, MILVIZ 737-200 an Airbus or two... Majestic just released its Q400, JustFlight's L1011...

On the Corporate/GA side we have Carenado's  B-90/200 and their TBM-850...

Flight1 is working on a G1000 equipped BE-200 which will be nice.

But what else is there aircraft wise?

Anything good or have we hit a plateau as developers decide what to do about FSX... stay and continue to develop or move to P3D or XP...

Post up some links to anything you are waiting on.

Personally I'd love to see a nicely done CRJ... What happened to Digital Aviation's CRJ?

I'd also like to see a nicely done Bizjet, say a Falcon 50/900 or Challenger of some kind...

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

The DC-8 project at fsdeveloper.com ( click on the showroom forum) that I believe is going to be released through HJG.

Another gents DC-8-51 is being previewed also in the same thread.

Both models look incredible.

Alabeo's Beech Staggerwing is looking fantastic.

Captain Sim's L-1011

Aerosoft's Twin Otter looks like it's progressing well. They say the CRJ is also making progress but that one's still a long way out I think. Milviz is doing King Air, Avanti P180, Stuka. There's still the DC6 and 747 from PMDG after the 777. RealAir and A2A doing the C172. There's also the QW 787.

It would be great to see some more VLJs or Bizjets

Not in order:

- Looking forward to having to choose between A2A and RealAir for a C-172.

- Waiting patiently for the new Twin Otter from Aerosoft - I really hope it's a winner.  It'll almost be an instant purchase from me.

- Milviz Bell 407.  There's a bunch of other upcoming things from Milviz that will make me poorer, I'm sure, but having gotten into heli's recently I'm really looking forward to the 407.

- Eager to see if the upcoming FTX Global will be worth the hit to the wallet.

- A2A's F-104. Will be almost top of the 'looking forward to' heap if they do a 'G' model, so I can have an excellent CF-104.

- Lionheart's Fairchild.

- Dino's S-3 Viking.  All his freeware is a no-brainer of course.

- Aerosoft's F-14A.

- Aerosoft's CRJ-700.

I'm pretty sure there are others that I just can't think of right now....  Needless to say, I'm in no danger of having excess money that I don't know what to do with!!

Milviz Person.

- The rest of Aerosoft's Airbus family

- The T7 and 747 from PMDG

- F1's Beech 200 with their stunning G1000

- Enigma's 737 Classic models (i really need to kick out Wilco's planes even though they fly surprisingly good)

- FSL's A320 series which might interest me to replace Aerosoft's models

- QualityWings's Boeing 787

These might make it someday:

- LevelD's 757

- LevelD's 767 much needed upgrade _OR_ Captain Sim finishing up their 767 and clean up the remaining bugs (each of these is a real shot in the dark)

- Someone finish up the Fokker VC

Once these are done i will probably like to have the Airbus A340 and A350 families.

Then i'll be done and keep on flying around the world.

McPhats Fokker is looking promising; although I've never had a chance to use any of their other craft, so I'm not sure what the quality will be like.

devs want to add more features and make their products better but once we add all this up......most people get a crash and complain about memory limits.  Slowly and eventually payware will be released in 32 and 64 bit.......just like when you buy a Video Game:  you have a choice of PS3, XBOX, NINTENDO or PC versions of the same game.

PMDG: T7, 747 V2, DC6. All other future plans ^_^

Enigma 737 Classic (Really looking forward to this!)

Quality Wings 787 and BAe 146 update

Orbx FSX Global looks to be absolutely fantastic. This week they released a bunch of new screen shots. See link below. All I can say is WOW and then Super-WOW.

Holy shizzle. I've seen early previews of FTX Global and never really followed the progress of the project, but this has just brought me to my knees. Whoa.

Realair's and A2A's C172s. Realair site hasn't been updated in a very long time, so not even sure it's still being worked on. If it will be anything like the Lancair, then will be an instant buy for me
