May 20, 201313 yr This thread shows something Im really surprised about. Look at all the development projects in the future for FSX!! Its not even close to dying off. There is no sign that things are changing to another platform else all resources and time would not have been committed too. Pretty darn amazing considering FSX age and limitations. May 20, 201313 yr Yes there is a large amount of products being developed for FSX. Why? Well, becuase that's all we have left. We could go with FS9 but that would be downgrading in quality. So, we;re stuck with FSX. However, if someone would create a much better FLight Simulation product than FSX, I am thinking most of us would run there too, especially for the need to take advantage of all cores within the CPU.
May 20, 201313 yr if someone would create a much better 64-bit FLight Simulation product than FSX... ...that would allow us to port existing FSX add-on's over, I'm sure we would all run to it. I know I would.. May 29, 201313 yr After seeing the Memphis Belle flying directly over my home all day yesterday (Memorial day), the sound of those engines give me goose bumps. Just an amazing sight to see and hear. Something about the sound of thumpers that puts a big smile on my face.
May 29, 201313 yr NLS A380 (if its actually still in production) I was interested in this too. Sadly though, I read that the A380 has been cancelled until further notice. It's a shame... I'd really like a high quality 380. June 5, 201412 yr kind of amazing that this is from a year ago and still so many things are not yet released.....hopefully soon. Mark CYYZ
June 5, 201412 yr The A2A Cherokee and Orbx NCA were the big 'must get' items to check off for me. Still eyeing Milviz Mu-2, RealAir T-Duke V2. and PMDG DC-6 on the 'must get' list. 747V2, is on the 'would be nice, but lets wait and see how FS hobby funds are' list. lol "The knack of flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." - Douglas Adams Tejon 'TJ' Stanley
