October 1, 201312 yr Commercial Member Synthetic vision wont display autogen. And in the G1000, it also will "yellowise" or redden the terrain like a TAWS. And if you end up in bad weather...synthetic vision makes life more interesting. October 1, 201312 yr And think about the obstacles or the highway in the sky guidance. Sweet. But I guess we agree that this would not only be a heavy programming task but also one causing FSX to slow down some more. And 'glass' already demands for some of the framerate. My guess would be that a realistic wish could involve VNAV. B) Far fetched, even weather display.

My R&D suggests that SVS and glass in general can be done in such a way as to have no impact on FPS whatsoever. October 1, 201312 yr Jonathan, I'll take that point from you. But I rarely see those positive examples. In fact, the F1 G1000 may currently show how glass negatively affects FSX fps while I only recall e.g. the Majestic Q400 where it doesn't that much. Well, rough statements of course since the F1 G1000 improved when reading the reports and the Q400 isn't a G1000 but 'just' a detailed PFD, ND and so on. But we surely agree on a full G1000 in FSX being a thing of the future. I haven't even seen commercial offers (Mindstar or F1 student edition G1000) offering what the real gauge would do. Side note. I don't know if there even was a market for such details, let alone a price point for the average sim fan to adjust to.

Given what I have seen in the F1 it is quite well optimised although i do think it could go further. But you are right in that no FPS impact is rare. Thats because the tech is only just starting to become more common. Jonathan "FRAG" Bleeker Formerly known here as "Narutokun" If I speak for my company without permission the boss will nail me down. November 16, 201312 yr Hi everybody Maybe someone can help. I have a switch panel and a multi panel from Saitek and also MCP combo from VRinsight, but don't work with B200. I try already SPAD and LINDA, but I can't this work. Most of the function don't accept and the few ones I can do something have conflict and not work right. Already someone had the some problems? If there are anyone who can help thanks
November 16, 201312 yr Does this airplane display the taxi and landing lights on the ground like the PMDG 777?

The B200 does not use very many of the default FSX global variables and will not directly work with many of the hardware add-ons. Several folks at the Flight1 forum are developing Lua scripts and Flight1 techs have been very helpful. My MSFS 2020 repaints: Flightsim.to - Profile of HStreet Working on MSFS 2024 versions.
November 16, 201312 yr F1 posted yesterday that they just dropped Ver. 1.3. Go get it if ya don't already have it. -Damien Damien Furtman Hovering Hellion
December 24, 201312 yr I love it, it's powerful and requires you to manage Power properly and stay ahead of the plane. Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
December 24, 201312 yr I actually just returned it for refund. It's a great plane and I wanted to keep it but felt I could use the $60.00 on a different add on I'd use more. I don't think they addressed the rudder issue in 1.3 as I could stand on the rudder back and forth and even at low speed it had hardly any effect on yaw. I'm not a real B200 pilot but I have ridden along many times in C-12's and something does seem a bit off there. Other than that It was a beautiful aircraft and I really liked hand flying it, I thought it was easy to trim etc. It remains one of the few aircraft I was able to consistently score well with in REX Latitude without using the AP. If I was more of a fan of glass cockpits I probably would have kept it; perhaps in the future if it goes on sale I'll give it another go. At any rate I support and commend Flight One for their refund policy I'm certainly a big fan of their products. RE Thomason Jr.
