August 3, 201312 yr HOLY ********** THOSE VIDEOS ARE GOOD!!! THE SOUNDS... AMAZING! I love the feature how you can change colour of the cockpit lights etc. Thanks for posting vids. Best Regards Anthony Davis
August 3, 201312 yr What really captured and held me with the startup video is that it wasn't flat noise. I could hear the #2 engine spool up in my right ear, and #1 roar to life in my left. I understand that this is just basic stereo and whatnot, but it's touches like this that allow PMDG products to suck you right into the simulation. With the explosion of activity on the topic I have become incredibly excited for this, and hope against hope that it isn't released when I'm renting a Cessna out of KPAE real-world in a couple weeks. (I won't have my computer back home.) Maybe I'll get to see a real T7 takeoff then, but I can't say I'm as excited for that, interestingly enough. Elijah HoytCFI, CFII, CMEL, CSEL, CSES, IFR
August 3, 201312 yr No I want them to stop spending all their dang time on making videos, and focus on releasing it. It's time to stop flying the 777 just for fun, (or what you call "beta testing) Maybe if you would read the link, than just maybe they will release it quicker http://forum.avsim.net/topic/245586-you-must-sign-your-full-real-name-to-posts-to-use-this-forum-posts-without-names-will-be-deleted/ I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
August 3, 201312 yr Gents- For all the "critics" out there excoriating these poor beta tester volunteers for not taking the time to create Emmy Award worthy videos- please take a moment and hit your reset button. These folks are responsible to PMDG- not to you... Their primary task is to help us verify that the product is ready for you to use. Their mission is not to dance like monkeys and create artwork for your every whim... I know you guys are excited... Trust me- WE are excited to get this airplane to you... Just don't beat up on the guys that are helping us to do that- it isn't proper. Surely you jest sir! Don't tell me people are whinging about videos, for heavens sake, I'm just thankful that we get to see what's going on, and may I say it's exciting If I was to sum up my reaction in one word it would be akin to a Graham Kennedy bird call (google it kids) Scott
August 3, 201312 yr Great to see videos being uploaded, however I am not watching them as I want to experience the sound for myself first. I kinda am dissapointed Luke Pabari got the beta (sorry Luke) as I miss reading his enthusiastic posts with every detail that is released, not the same anymore. Jay Vorkapic
August 3, 201312 yr It's interesting how you can berely hear the engine sounds from the cockpit. Well, even though they are massive, they're so far behind the pilots that it should be no surprise. I imagine how much engine 'music' (if any) the pilots can hear in the -300 variant... Also, I don't know if it was just my imagination, but even though the engine sounds are low, you can really "feel" them when using a headset. I noticed this while the guy was starting the nº 1 engine on the second video. He had the second engine running and, although the startup is almost inaudible, I could really "feel" something humming on my left ear. Maybe it's time to take a good shower and clean my ears properly... Matheus Mafra
August 3, 201312 yr ******* these videos are killing me! Please release it before September as I am going to Florida for my hols and I wont be able to enjoy myself if I don't have my 777 by then! Regards. Paul Houghton.
