looks nice just watched a bit like this, but still don't want to see everything before it arrives here :D A bit of surprises is nice :)

Thx for the video Kyle!

I browsed through it in about 45minutes or so, so I might have missed something.

However,one thing I did see and got me totally excited as a 2D panel fan is.......drums ruffling......a 2D MCP panel :-) :-)

Please tell me I can drag that to my touchscreen monitor (23" ACER thouch) just like I allways do with the 737NGX CDU so I can physically push those buttons!?

And I agree, realy interesting to hear your voice, totally different of course than I expected, nothing skandinavian about it haha.

Thanks for the video, ill get to watching it now!! Can I ask, i know the NGX doesn't have this, but for the T7, can the cockpit windows be opened?

Thanks Kyle, what a great way to present the 777. Letting us ride in the jump seat with you. Well done.

Cool to hear your voice too, quite a kind and softspoken gentleman, that is, you must have had your coffee

haha - awesome.  Thanks!  I did actually have my coffee.  I had a ridiculous headache since about 0800 yesterday, so I'm surprised I was as coherent as I was in the video.  As far as the voice goes, I think I just reverted to my instructor voice from my last job teaching computer/network/tech classes (which I think I referenced on short final.)

BTW. You don't sound anything like what I thought you would. Even though I know you are in the US, I still had a real Scandinavian voice in my mind. Ha.

haha - yeah, I just sound like a boring Washingtonian now.  You should've heard me in college (when I went back to Norway and Denmark a few times.)  It was ridiculous.  I always got picked on for random words, and still do when I'm not paying attention and let my pronunciation slip.

"Yeah, I guess we can leave at about that time." ('about' being one of the words that gets messed up bc of the 'o' / 'ou')
"At what that time?"
"uh-bow-t" (how we'd say it around DC)
"Yeah, nice try.  That's not how you pronounced it."

Remind me next time your controlling and I'll provide you some relief with a properly flown CAPTL8 departure (A scenic flight past the White House would also be welcomed)

"After departure, fly heading 095.  Wind 180 at 7, Runway 1L cleared for takeoff.  Be advised, you will be escorted by an F-16 at some point."

Do you practice to set squawk 2200 because of VATSIM?

Yep!  Moreover, the airport I fly out (RW) of is close enough to DC that they have it under extra security.  As such, we have a special procedure for squawk codes and the airport AWOS has a remark that the end that strongly states "NEVER SQUAWK 1200" so it's just a general aversion to the code.

Haven't had the time to watch it to the end, but I like your narrative style, as if I am sitting next to you watching you go through the ins and outs...

I'll credit that to my old job, but I'm glad that's at least something that I kept from said old job!  Thanks!

I was gonna say you sounded nothing like I expected your voice to be like, but I see someone already did do that :) So far, nice video. My employer will probably not thank you (not that I have much to do though. Slow day.)

haha - I'm beginning to get curious as to how people thought I'd sound (I'm imagining either some whiny-voiced guy, or Arnold Schwarzenegger while angry.)  Thanks!  Yeah, my apologies to all employers for releasing this such that people would be watching it on a Friday, where motivation is low anyway.

I guess that's why you let the RTO setting be auto completed in the checklist and not manually complete ;)

bahahahahaha - I was waiting for someone to catch that!  I just re-watched some of it this morning and noticed "oh hey, way to go champ, you forgot to reset the Autobrakes!"
