Yes. If developer wanted to distribute the package via your link they would contact you. Or you could contact them and arrange such a deal if they agree.

 

I'm sure your intentions are good, but anyway, that would be potentially risky as I don't know if you injected some parasite in that package.

Aerosoft might have an issue with that...

I'd be good with that.  If they can't have their !*@# in order when they release this, then we should have the right to get it some other way rather than wait until Christmas while paying for it today.  Unacceptable.

Yep, I can of course understand that. I just feel for those affected. But usually everything is sorted out in a fw hours anyway, so I won't do it.

It's a strange situation I had no issue downloading was just over 3mins and activated on second try.

Was up and using in twenty minutes.

 

Too bad I had to go back to work. Don't lose faith guys.

Weather, Tracks, NOTAMs. Basically for anything usefull.

I think the PFPX.exe file is 189MB as its finished downloading for me.

Now on the 1tth attempt, download complete and installation successful... Onto the activation stage... 10 mins go by, still stuck on the activation screen.  Am I the only one getting this problem?  Should I force quit and try again?

Took two tries to get it downloaded and 4 tries to get it activated. I guess you just need to download and activate at the right time. Don't give up. i know its frustrating.

Thanks Chris.  When you try to activate, does the program just sit there and do nothing (ie frozen, while Task Manager still says its running)?  Or does it give you a definitive failure/error message?

Last question. How much is the subscription?

Honestly, the subscription for a year is about a few mugs/bowls of coffee, so it doesn't cost all that much.  Beyond that, the way I see it is you're paying for convenience.  It depends on how you weigh the two I guess
