August 30, 201312 yr The fact that it hasn't been listed yet in the "Products" section goes to show it won't be within the next 24 hours. Or will it!?!
August 30, 201312 yr Guys... my thoughts are - if AOA has access to the plane it must be release ready. Why would Chris Palmer otherwise get access to a plane with bugs? http://www.flyaoamedia.com/reviews/pmdg-777-first-screenshots-and-first-impressions/?fb_source=pubv1 He had access to PFPX way before it was release ready. August 30, 201312 yr Exciting indeed and it would be wonderful if we had the 777 in our hands this weekend. However, lets not be surprised if it takes until Wednesday or longer. Lets Keep Calm and Carry On, so to speak. B) Exciting times ahead. Sean Franklin

August 30, 201312 yr Hello, I would think it prudent to release during the week, that way maybe the PMDG & AVSIM severs be able to hold up. A weekend release will IMHO send the severs to their knees. Just my 2 cents. Regards Simon Ward
August 30, 201312 yr Robert, as I'm typing this you're online now. PLEASE RELEASE IT BEFORE I GO NUTS!!! If you take a look, at least four of the PMDG team are online right now... "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma
August 30, 201312 yr Oh my, you should be banned for that... :-P I just reposted it from some guy at PMDG Facebook. I thought we knew how to read and knew they said the main page may be updated anytime? Rigoberto Aranda C152/C172/C310/A319/A320/A321
August 30, 201312 yr Commercial Member I think I recall PMDG giving us a heads-up that they would update their site for testing purposes. The site would go down, come back up with a 777 page, but it would all be of testing. Nothing released... YET... TFDi Design
August 30, 201312 yr Rigoberto, I'd love to see that page (and I've seen that image before too!). There are some missing things though, like the lack of shadowing on the page, and there is a slight hint of Photoshopping around the edge. And the news would have moved down one, with the 737 SP probably being second on the list. I think we are close, but not that close. I think we will see it within the next week (starting Friday, to next Friday) and I lean to maybe Tuesday? I think a weekend release is a little far fetched, especially with it being Labor Day Weekend in the U.S.. I don't see PMDG putting it out on the weekend when it can wait for the week, they probably have to sleep on the release candidate to make sure its what they want to throw out there. And everyone, I think the server crashing thing is really put out of proportion. They have made massive improvements to their servers, so site stain, although there will be some, will not match the NGX from the sounds of it. -Tom H
August 30, 201312 yr I doubt it will be released tomorrow, PMDG said they would update us, and we haven't seen any change to the PMDG 777 Product page.
