Another pointless petition. This time started by someone who doesn't even give his/her name

Gerry Howard

The petition needs to be proof read, edited and more focused before I will sign it. That being said, is Lockheed martin even interested?

What a waste of time.

If Microsoft is not selling their code, there has to be a reason. It's not like a petition will do anything.

Probably waste of time although I agree with would be awesome if MS would do that. But I doubt they care.

The reason is MS wanting to get as much money as possible from FSX copies still being sold, that's all I believe.

I think at this point I should probably start doing some research with X Plane 10 development if it or X Plane 11 is indeed going to be the next big entertainment platform simulator...

Got a higher chance of having your teeth returned by petitioning the tooth fairy

More to the point, why would a defence contractor be interested in developing, selling, and supporting a consumer entertainment product?

What a totally ridiculous petition. How can anyone insinuate that LM would even be interested in an entertainment market?  I'm sure when LM finds about this they won't be too impressed.

It's completely inappropriate for a third party (anonymous it seems) to position themselves in the middle of two huge corporations and their business decisions.

I would bet that when this hits someone's desk at either MS or LM, it will immediately go into file 13.

Thank you.

1. Lockheed-Martin is probably not interested in the Entertainment market.

2. Lockheed-Martin is probably not interested either in discrediting their own product on the commercial market. A market where they can fetch a LOT more money, than the very small and insignificant market we simmers represent.

3. Why would Microsoft be interested in selling the Entertainment part of the agreement, when they're still making money from it? Keep in mind, they don't have to do a thing, and the money still keeps flowing in.

MS doesn't care about us.

LM doesn't care about us.

period...

Intel i7 10700K | Asus Maximus XII Hero | Asus TUF RTX 3090 | 32GB HyperX Fury 3200 DDR4 | 1TB Samsung M.2 (W11) | 2TB Samsung M.2 (MSFS2020) | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm AIO | 43" Samsung Q90B | 27" Asus Monitor

When are theses type of people going to come to the conclusion. LM doesnt want to be a supplier of a consumer product!
