June 4, 201412 yr I really wish there was a batch file that would auto add WOAI aircraft and schedules that were missing from UT2. That would save an incredible amount of time. Mark CYYZ
June 5, 201412 yr Those CRJ and ERJ models are eyesores. I replaced with the UT2 regional jet models with Malcontent CRJ-200 and the Alpha India CRJ-700 and 900 models. Go to borisrepaints.com he has pretty much all the Delta Connection liveries you'll need. Thanks for the suggestion! I got some liveries from there, but I'm not used to exchanging aircraft models within UT2, is there any kind of tutorial around? Best regards, Wanthuyr Filho Instagram: AeroTacto

June 5, 201412 yr I am interesting in trying to update some schedules. My question is how do you disable the flight plans in UT2 for an existing airline? I'm assuming there is a manual somewhere that explains how to use power pack to convert a downloaded schedule into one you can use with UT2? There is you open the ut2 gui and go into database base options. you then choose the weekly schedule and unclick the airlines you dont want showing and hit update. you then run power pack and create a new schedule and import that using powerpack. If you want a hand send me a pm and ill help you out. cheers.
June 6, 201412 yr If you don't upgrade to the most current version of UT2 and Powerpack you can manipulate the databases using firefox with a plugin called SQLite Manager. Always make a backup of your databases though before attempting edits. There is a method to the databases but as long as you pay attention you will see how it all ties together. There are only 2 that you need to work with UT2interface and usually UT2Weekly_Official. Be very very careful. The main thing to remember is that if you remove anything, you remove every reference to it in other tables. Same goes for adding info. You'll see different fields under the aircraft table for example. This is were you can adjust aircraft flight ceilings, speed, etc. There are many more. Probably a good idea to study these table a lot and map out in your head how they are all tied together before you attempt anything. You will not/can not manipulate the program, just your data. June 6, 201412 yr Also anyone with UT2 should definately add Flight 1's Audio Enviornment Airliner Edition, brings busy airports to life sound wise. Thanks for the tip! John Miles
June 6, 201412 yr Guys and Gals, A little help here...? Which PowerPack should I be using? http://ut2.flight1.net/index.php/downloads/ut2-power-pack.html NOTE: I have the default UT2 installed with no updated schedules applied yet As an aside: Has anyone decompiled an update to see whats involved in creating one? I ask this because its my understanding that the primary UT2 developer has moved on and there wont be any further updates to the product. I made a post about PP in the forums. Go look for it, as you can't simply download that PP you linked to, you need another one first.
June 6, 201412 yr I need you to do that for me lol. I was curious after reading your post so I looked at mine...14.1GB. Oops. I have deleted all unused aircraft, and converted almost all textures to .dds but use a ton of HD textures. I haven't noticed a huge hit, but it does take some time loading. I have deleted some unused aircraft, reduced textures and reduced down the LOD of each model - performance is outstanding although quality does take a little hit. Whole UT2 folder only weighs in at around 200MB! Freeware developer Pompeii, Italy and Mount Vesuvius (pompeii_italy.zip) and A380 Flight plans (ai_a380_flightplans_redux.zip).
August 27, 201411 yr I would be quite confident in saying my ai is completely up to date, Those CRJ and ERJ models are eyesores. I replaced with the UT2 regional jet models with Malcontent CRJ-200 and the Alpha India CRJ-700 and 900 models. Go to borisrepaints.com he has pretty much all the Delta Connection liveries you'll need. Is there any possibility to share these updates on UT2 schedules and replacement of the Daedalus textures with the community? After reading the efforts involved in doing this, I would have to give up my day job  Is there a licensing issue with doing so?
August 27, 201411 yr Mithras update: I'm back on full traffic now, which is just as well because I've installed Audio Environment Airline Edition, which works wonderfully with UT2. Enjoying stunning traffic, now with even more ai GA planes downloaded from AVSIM. - Paul Elliott http://www.avsim.com/topic/450607-amy-johnson-london-to-australia-attempt/
August 27, 201411 yr I don't like the fact that every time you access the FSX menu, the UT2 traffic refreshs. Doesn't this bother you guys too? I want it to remain just like how I left it before I accessed the menu. So I use MT2013.
August 28, 201411 yr Just don't touch the menu during a flight. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

After reading the efforts involved in doing this, I would have to give up my day job  Is there a licensing issue with doing so? Yes there is a licensing issue as the updates are using many ai models such as djc, faib, aadvark, tfs, etc as well the updated schedules by ai alpha group and other individual people who make great updates. Any more info you can pm me.
August 28, 201411 yr UT2 is a great program but somehow limited in it's ability to show ai traffic: in fact it doesn't show any traffic over the open sea. This has been tried, tested and acknowledged by a representative of Flight1 on the UT2 support forum more than a year ago: February 13, 2013: "One problem is that the lead developer on the product is no longer with us. Further support on the changes to code or fixes will be extremely limited." February 25, 2013: "Not much I can do here further." March 12, 2013: "You will have to live with it for now. I think I have made that pretty clear." It looks like most users can live with it. Regards, Andreas Regards, Andreas Gutzwiller
