My favorite line: " and the feature-list is simply extraordinarily huge." We can expect beta 1 very soon, for sure. But I'm not so sure about 24hrs. I could well be wrong, I hope ;)

24 Hours and Supnik will provide more news about 10.30? If history has taught us anything ... then you should know that Ben Supnik has a pretty terrible track record when it come this concept we call "time".

Version 10.3 is looking very interesting. A lot of enthusiasm came across in those few words from the man himself. Will be nice to see what Ben has to say in his news slot. :)

So, look for the public 10.30 Beta soon

I am curious to see what the scope of "soon" is ... days? weeks? months? ... who knows .

Hey, it's great to hear something from Austin himself for a change,

saying that he's busier coding than we can imagine.

Assuming that Austin is more or less all about the physics in XP,

what could it be he's coding for us.

I hope we all will know soon.

+1, this is the most interesting part of the news for me also. The fact that Austin is still coding (and not tied up in court with patent wars). Also, he was completely right about the Bell 407, it's an incredible helicopter :-)

Thread title is misleading please change it.

Word from Ben in 24 hrs only.

Definitely good news, I hope we will be able to play with it this weekend but I'm not holding my breath!

Most of the X-Plane releases have occurred over weekends, but I agree that Ben only said that he would give more information within the time frame.  Getting antsy!

More information, yes, but no release within 24hrs. The wish was father to the thought for the opening poster.
