November 3, 201411 yr Question for those who have successfully purchased Fly Tampa Copenhagen. How did you get the product once you'd paid for it? I don't see any way of getting to my account on their website. I've purchased it, via PayPal, but only have my PayPal receipt, nothing else. This was about 23 hours ago, and nothing from Fly Tampa and no way seemingly of getting the scenery. I've written this question to their support email address but no reply yet. Pete Dowson Pete, Have you tried their forum? Once paid you receive an email with code and download links. Jose MSFS
November 3, 201411 yr Moderator Ray, don't forget you also get the whole city of Copenhagen with the package. Sure there's no way to get just the airport, but to me that's worth it. I have plenty of flights to do, especially intra-Scandinavia ones, considering all the recent releases covering that area (Oslo, Bergen, Tromso, etc.). if you fly VFR that might be something that is attractive but for me I'd rather see 2 options with a reduced price for the airport only. Pete Dowson Yeah, as someone else said, I received my e-mail with registration number and download links within 5 minutes from placing my order. Assuming you entered all your info correctly upon placing the order, the next best direction would be to head to their forum and/or contact them directly. Not sure what else to say. Oh, I assume you've checked your Spam folder too? That's all I got. Sorry if the suggestions are obvious ones. Good luck! Regards, Kevin LaMal "Facts Don't Care About Your Feelings" - Shapiro2024
November 3, 201411 yr if you fly VFR that might be something that is attractive but for me I'd rather see 2 options with a reduced price for the airport only. I only fly IFR (albeit happily in VMC conditions B) ) and I just love having a city modeled underneath my flight path, especially on final approach. (I also pass up on many Orbx airporst because there's often literally only one commercial service, and that one is seasonal only! LOL)
November 3, 201411 yr Commercial Member Pete, Have you tried their forum? Once paid you receive an email with code and download links. Jose Yes, I've now registered on their Forum. I have received no email, no reply to my email to them, nor any download links. I wish I'd waited -- i see SimMarket is carrying it now. All my previous Fly Tampa sceneries were purchased through SimMarket and I've never had any problem getting the stuff downloaded and installed immediately. I just assumed i must be missing something on Fly Tampa's website. Every other place I've purhased things you can find your account and see your list of products for download or re-download. Not fly Tampa for some reason. :-( Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. GPU: RTX 24Gb Titan 2 x 2160p projectors at 25Hz onto 200 FOV curved screen
November 3, 201411 yr There's a huge markup on FS software and you can get bargains if you wait. Also, consider buying from PC Aviator as you don't pay VAT and every Tuesday they have 10% off. Ray Agree with you wholesome. I used to get stuff from PC Aviator including those Tuesday discounts, but after getting most of what I wanted, other than the Area51 stuff which I had no interest in, I had to ask for them to remove me from their mail-list. I do like FT's products and have a few of them, but not at this price, as you say, for a small airport. Rick Almeida
November 3, 201411 yr Moderator Markus, The modelled city will enhance the package but I'm not buying at that price. I'll wait for the sales as will quite a few others I think. November 3, 201411 yr I have received no email, no reply to my email to them, nor any download links. Pete, I used PayPal to purchase CPH as well directly from FT website. After going through the process of typing in all the information they required for the transaction, it went through to PayPal without a hitch and a few minutes later I had an email with download links. Out of curiosity, did you send an email to Martin? I mailed him as I had some trouble accessing the download links that were provided in the mail and he responded within minutes ([email protected]) Hope you get it sorted soon!

Most of FT's airports are $30-35 I don't think anybody should be surprised by this. Orbx prices for addon airports with surrounding scenery are very similar. I mailed him as I had some trouble accessing the download links that were provided in the mail and he responded within minutes ([email protected]) I got nothing from Fly Tampa I'm afraid. I don't know Martin -- in fact I don't know of anyone in that company. That's why i wrote to the support email as stated for such problems in the Contact section of their website. Seems no one reads those however. I'll try re-sending to Martin specifically. Thanks. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. November 3, 201411 yr I agree Ray, I also bought UUEE and EETN from the sales in Simmarket, and more than one scenery was bought from the "Ten off Tuesday" sales Jude BradleyBeech Baron: Uh, Tower, verify you want me to taxi in front of the 747?ATC: Yeah, it's OK. Ray, to be honest I don't remember any FlyTampa or PMDG discounts during last year. Even at Black-Friday-super-discount-season, when almost all developers offer bigger or smaller discounts (btw. I'm waiting for next Black Friday at the end of this month B)). A few weeks ago SimMarket offer FlyTampa Athens with discount but it was exception to the rule. If you are non EU resident you are stiil on better position. EU citizens pay FlyTampa price + VAT...
November 3, 201411 yr EU citizens pay FlyTampa price + VAT... Exactly 6€ of VAT I paid but it's worth the price.
