Pricing apart, do we have any feedback on how it is performing ? Impact on FPS, VAS.....etc...

Impact on VAS depends on your graphics settings and the install options you have chosen. It can get pretty high (but it's configurable).

Fps have been good throughout with my slightly aged system and the PMDG NGX.

And since I've started to feel the 1 GB VRAM limitation of my GPU with more and more sceneries: No problem with EKCH; VRAM usage stays under 1 GB for me.

What happened to AVSIM

6£ pounds more to pay. That is equivalent to roughly 3 pints of finest ale. Mmmmh.... if I drink only two pints a month for the next 3 months saving one...I can buy the airport. Done deal. Airport bought.

Lol   like your way of thinking here :P

These are reasonable prices. I'd love someone to explain to me why I should pay £6-£9 more for a FlyTampa product for a moderate size airport.

Again no one is forcing you to pay, if you don't want  the airport  than as you keep saying in this thread don't buy it.

I didn't ask you to state the bleeding obvious. I asked to be convinced it's worth the premium price. If you can't do that I fail to understand what you are contributing to this thread. It's not as if I'm alone in feeling the price is too high.

I have one philosophy when it comes to purchasing flightsim software........

If I really want it, then I get it

The price becomes essentially irrelevant, unless someone goes daft, and starts releasing airports at £100 a shot! However, a price of $35 for what looks like an absolutely stunning piece of work is really no big deal to me (and I am certainly not a rich man). I have only looked at the screenshots, but the airport detail looks stunning, the texture resolution looks stunning, the massive amount of 3D buildings and other models surrounding the airport looks stunning........seriously, I am trying to work out why anyone wouldn't think that this package was worth every penny of that $35

The big problem I have with Fly Tampa Copenhagen is that it isn't in the UK! For me to purchase this product, I would need a clear route to it from the UK that is covered by high resolution photoscenery. In short, this means high resolution photoscenery of Denmark, since EKCH Copenhagen lies on the east side of the country.

If anyone can point me to a high resolution photoscenery Denmark package (and by this, I mean at least 1m per pixel), then purchase of Fly Tampa EKCH Copenhagen would probably be a no brainer for me. I will say it again.....

It looks stunning!

There are some who use photo scenery who have complained about OOM errors.

As for the price, I feel the same way. If I want it, I get it.

I also consider the long term value, not just the inititial gratification.

As I mentioned, I won't be buying it (YET), but after watching this nearly 2 Hours, yep Two hours review, I begin to see why it's so expensive. Try looking at all the details behind the see through glass windows in the terminals, with chairs, billboards even carpets and you realize what work and studies that has to be made to make a scenery like this.

Hey, at least Flytampa don't force you into buying regions or landclass to make the airport work unlike another company..

'The other company' also clearly market the airports as ADDONS to the Region packs. Its not hidden.

The guy at AirDailyX needs some education on antivirus software and the MO of ### AI.  :(

.....and yet they could clearly make even more money if they went that little bit further to make sure that their airport addons were fully compatible with photoscenery. Thankfully the UK ones can be made to work with a bit of a tweak here and there (even EGPB Sumburgh, although you need to own a copy of FTX Scotland to grab the file required to make it work), but how many photoscenery users have decided not to bother (or risk it) because they think that those airports only work with the specific landclass region stated?

I suspect strongly, though it's possible FlyTampa knows this better, that this pricing means that only die-hard EKCH fans are going to buy. And that's a shame for all of us.

On the other hand, think of how many new fans of EKCH they will create! Until now I've been only an occasional visitor to Kastrup but this will now be the center of my flight ops for the upcoming future.

Likewise, I had never, not once ever, flown to TPA before I bought their flagship. Now I've got Tampa weather bookmarked in my browser! The quality translates into sheer enjoyment, and it's even more fun to use these exceptional add-on sceneries to learn more and explore regions I otherwise never would have thought to try.

Don't pass up on such an opportunity simply because the price is a couple of lagers too high ;)

My flight sim blog: Fly, Farmer, Fly!

Copenhagen is topping the simmarket best sellers for a few days now. So, will this point about overpricing ever become moot?

...most FT products usually sell this well, and quite rightly so, as they're the best in the market

This one is another great piece of work, as I expected it to be.

Frames are solid-VAS is on the high side but easily manageable, So far have been able to land T7 with some safe reserve.

20GBP, or 26GBP...really? That 6 pounds is money you've already spent to 'power up' your monitor for all the time spent writing about it in this topic!

They aren't interested in supporting it, probably because having it in their own ecosystem makes the support issues easier to deal with. More things to make it compatible with, more issues to have to deal with in support forums.

How many freeware airports has FlyTampa distributed? No knock against FT. But we need to be fair to everyone.
