Prepar3D v2 Hotfix (2.5.12944.0) Released

Featured Replies

I'll ask the impossible question,  how long do you think that will take, week, month 2 months?

I am mainly concerned with Active SKy Next and FSUIPC. No FSUIPC no panels. And I have a bunch.

How about FSUIPC, is the latest one okay with 12944?

Yep, according to Pete Dowson's page:

Install complete FSUIPC version 4.939d Install FSUIPC4939d for FSX, FSX-SE and Prepar3D versions 1.4 and 2.0-2.5
-- See changes document for details up to 4.939d
-- Adds Support for Prepar3D version 2.5, builds 12942-4
-- Supports as yet unreleased FSX-SE build 62609.
-- G3D fix as in FSX now also applies to FSX-SE
-- Installer labels install problems more intelligently
-- Installer copes with common Registry mix-ups between FSX and FSX-SE.

I have P3d 2.5.12944 installed and FSUIPC works as designed.

Everyone wanted a sim that was being updated. Well, you got it. This is the result of those updates. It's the same type of thing that we see in X-plane also. You get used to it after a while.

How near might near be?

That depends on how fast you're traveling ... it's all relative if you subscribe to Mr. Einstein

Cheers, Rob.

FSUIPC 4.939e now released is fully compatible with 12944 (as was 4.939d, but with an error in the Installer). 4.939e is also compatible with the next update to FSX-SE.

LOL!! Rob, I am 67 years old. For us guys "near" is not as exciting or for that matter, not as sure as it used to be. :Skull:

This P3d Hotfix went a lot more smoothly for me. ASN, FSUIPC4 and GSX all updated in a timely manner.

Well, these days 90 is pretty common ... so in 23 years from now, 100 will probably be common ... so I guess near better be within 32 years and give you 1 year of simulation.

As always, many thanks Pete and hope you had a wonderful vacation and many more to come.
