May 15, 201511 yr I have a P8P67 Deluxe but I'm sure if I can put another card into it, how can I find out ? thanks Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom

May 15, 201511 yr An update from 2.4 -> 2.6 would be nice :Big Grin: Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
May 15, 201511 yr The prospect of reinstalling everything and making a mess of my UT2 install isn't inspiring me to upgrade. May 15, 201511 yr Will the new driver be limited on the model you have? in my case 3 evga 580... anyone.
May 15, 201511 yr Lot of people rushing out to buy second or third cards without knowing what the results will actually be. I have been waiting for this news for a long time (and thanks to those who have put pressure on P3D and nVidia) but as performance restricted by CPU I will wait for others to report on the benefits. I am hoping that, as I can get great smooth frame rates on my system with one screen, I can get the same across 3 screens with SLI support. Then a happy bunny.
May 15, 201511 yr I have a P8P67 Deluxe but I'm sure if I can put another card into it, how can I find out ? thanks Your motherboard does indeed support SLI, as long as you get a second Nvidia graphics card which is the same model as the one you have it will work. Also make sure your power supply is sufficient to power two graphics cards. May 15, 201511 yr Great news! I have my second 780ti installed, waiting to be enabled. Menelaos Ladopoulos
May 15, 201511 yr Folks: you all understand the role that a GPU plays in P3D, right? It seems like all of the excitement and fervor are on a broad, generic level. The fact is that a basic 760 will run P3D and be able to handle the basic tasks of rendering the scene, draw calls, tesselation, etc. What we're really after here are situations where the the sim is not CPU-bound, e.g. times when you fly through dense clouds or encounter high amounts of particle matter (e.g. some of 777 Immersion's effects). And/or when you've exacerbated these situations by using strong AA settings, such as SGSS 4x or 8x. Unless you were already encountering that bottleneck--or desire to use high AA settings (and, say, having ASN render 8+ cloud layers), mindlessly running out and buying another video card won't do much for you. May 15, 201511 yr I don't expect magic jumps in FPS, but hope for better handling of SGSAA. At least I'd like to use it with no problem at x4 level. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.
