so I was going to ask the mod to close this one.

but then I read the very second post in that thread 

and it was someone asking if they had to pay for

the upgrade from 2.5 to 3

Just got it...21.5MB/s (1.25 GB/min) download speed.  The whole 9.8GB came down in less than 8 minutes.

LM isn't starting off on a good note.  They had to anticipate a surge in traffic for this release...very frustrating.  I feel like I am at an Apple Store and I'm last in line.

Don't forget to backup your Prepar3d_v2 directories in local, roaming and program data before deinstalling v2. Always useful to have after a new install.

Downloading now, site is up and didn't see any slowdowns.  This was at 1:05 EST.  Excited!

Wow interesting FPS! At first it does the usual default run and my fps where locked at 20. It was all stuttering and I am thinking what the heg...

Now I get with every slider comletely right, and all maxed out 56-75 fps! Thats with the standard Carenado Beech and no addons, no ORBX installed.
