December 6, 201510 yr How does this plane simply not have TCAS... this might just be the deal breaker for me to skip this :/ From what I've read this plane will lack many aspects of systems/system depths :-( I fear that this will be another addon which has wonderful graphics and sound but not lot more. Waiting for the IXEG, I guess.

December 6, 201510 yr Hmmm... another "wait and see" plane. IXEG will be a day one buy but I'm not sure for the MD80 from what I'm reading. The FMC will be the real clincher (no VNAV/SID/STAR etc, no sale).

What Schorle was referring to with "no PROG" was the missing proGress page on the FMC. Has nothing to do with proCedures. See http://rotatesim.com/md-80-feature-list-updated/ for the features. (I can only speak for the German-language FS MAGAZIN: we'll have one, but as we only are bi-monthly, it will be in early 2016. December 6, 201510 yr I can understand the lack of a HLD page in the initial release, as the underlying programming for that function is quite complex - but I'm puzzled as to why there would be no PROG page, as all the information necessary to display current and next waypoints, and time and fuel at destination should be readily available within the running code of the FMS if is at all functional.
