February 19, 201610 yr Just testing MFAA in P3D with the new 361.91 drivers and it now works extremely well (no more artifacts, when viewing clouds through rotors / props for example). Performance is very good as well, even in dense clouds. I'm using 2X DSR (no highfalutin 4K panel yet...) and MFAA on in the NV control panel, with 4X MSAA in P3D (FXAA off). No Nvidia Inspector or SGSS. Hope this helps; post back if you notice an improvement (or not). Cheers. p.s. this AA technique is available on Maxwell cards only unfortunately...
February 19, 201610 yr have you tried SGSS at all, Im using a 980ti and SGSS works great in dense clouds but hey if I can get another extra FPS for free Im all for that too! February 19, 201610 yr I believed that the MFAA filter worked only with a few games. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/mfaa/games
February 19, 201610 yr Just installed them. First observation : looks good. Hi Gerard. Did you apply the MFAA filter? Or what is the difference of your AA settings compared to the older driver? Is there any visual improvement in Antialiasing? Regards, Chris -- PC: Intel 13900K, Gigabyte Geforce RTX 4090, 64GB Fury Beast DDR5 RAM; Display: Varjo Aero VR
