August 5, 20169 yr You're out of order with the racist accusation. I said "passengers". No mention of nationality. Quote "Shows how different some nationalities are. Complete lack of common sense!". What do you mean by that? I'm not the only one on this forum who felt that you were being a bit unfair with the nationality comments. Either way, have a nice day. Let's move on. :-)
August 5, 20169 yr Vinod, what part of the differences between Ray's quoted 'nationalities' and 'nationality' (your quote) are you having difficulty with? But as you say, let's move on. At the end of the day, everybody who de-planed other than the firefighter who sadly lost his life, was safe Rick Almeida

August 9, 20169 yr I'm sure there were better ways to express your opinion without being blatantly racist. :-( It's not fair to blame an entire nationality for something like that. His words were not racist at all! The passengers disobeyed the safety briefing given at the start of the flight. Had any died as a result of the fire they would have found the video evidence and no claims could have been made against the airline. August 9, 20169 yr Just lock the overhead compartments during takeoff and landing, or get rid of them. I saw a concept drawing showing no overhead compartments on the BBC with skylights letting in natural lighting. August 9, 20169 yr The 707 only had room overhead to put your top hat, but those were the days of flying when all you really brought on board was your overcoat, top hat and a pack of smokes, and they brought you a drink and a newspaper. August 11, 20169 yr Are you a grown up man to use such uncivil words in a public forum? If you're offended by the word "bloody" I think you should give up on the internet. Best regards, Neal McCullough
