December 9, 20169 yr Pretty nice looking texture package...integration with ASCA/AS16. http://togapjcts.wixsite.com/toga/envtex Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
December 9, 20169 yr Purchased last night and finally I think as16/Asca is looking brilliant - adds so many new textures to Asca for use. The shaders it installs are also nice, overall good add on :-)
December 9, 20169 yr Does it enhance ASCA full dynamic sky textures? Or does it overwrite them? Thanks, Dirk.
December 9, 20169 yr +1 for this. Keeping an eye here for some info/experience with this Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471

December 9, 20169 yr It seems like other than sky textures it just duplicates what other addon packages provide (REX, ASCA, PrecipitFX, PTA, etc.). This is not a bad thing as it appears to be somewhat of a Swiss Army knife for only ~$20.
December 9, 20169 yr Author I don't have it yet but the documentation says it does work with the dynamic modes. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
December 9, 20169 yr I have it and think it's well worth the money for sure. I'd give it 4/5 stars works well with ASCA Angus Rowlands: i7 8700 RTX Asus Strix 2080, 16 GB RAM
December 9, 20169 yr same here. bought it and for 20 bucks it really adds nice immersion (love those sky textures) Carsten U
December 9, 20169 yr whether it is the sky textures so much better than REX,ASCA sky textures? And what about the other textures, like clouds, ocean, airport ? I have REX, ASCA,PrecipitFX, PTA. Is it worthwhile to buy only a new sky texture 20 bucks?
December 9, 20169 yr Hi Guys;Sky textures - you can select ASCA mode within ENVTEX and it'll install sky textures into ASCA's folder and so if you have ASCA on global dynamic then it'll automatically use ENVTEX textures for so much variety - works brilliantly behind the scenes. The plan for the future is to do the same with clouds! Watch this space In addition theres an array of textures including water, wave animation, sun, moon and clouds incase you don't want to use ASCA cloud textures just now... The sun also comes with a glare effect which adds a natural glow when flying towards the sun...Overall a good addon, it's subtle but adds overall to the immersion.
December 9, 20169 yr Yes - although I've been using REX4 for water/waves in past year - it's quite nice to be honest and can't quite put my finger on it, but I do a mixed bag of flying whether NGX and so on or in a Bae Hawk doing low level around the welsh valleys...
