January 10, 20179 yr Under the ezdok file menu click "get critical updates" and it will auto update. The improved camera set manager is a nice improvement over the previous edition.
January 12, 20179 yr In v1 I could import the effects from one aircraft to an other. How can I do it in v2?. If I have set up a camera set for one aircraft (which can take a long time) it would be great to just import the effects settings and leave the cameras untouched. It appears that v2 does not have this functionality, and in my opinion this is a great step backwards because you would either compare and adjust the effects manually or you need to re-configure all your cameras again. That`s with the latest update *.20 of EZDOK2 Regards, Chris -- PC: Intel 13900K, Gigabyte Geforce RTX 4090, 64GB Fury Beast DDR5 RAM; Display: Varjo Aero VR
January 12, 20179 yr Froogles Video on EZdok 2. Thanks for sharing Bob. Mmmm...Those nasty fuselage camera effects that impact on fly dynamics: have definitely to disable them. Tricky indeed: didn't realise that til a watched this video (I'm using EZCA2 downloaded camera sets for my PMDGs). Cheers, EDIT: now I understand why last night, my (FS)passengers where so frightened by turbulence, despite the drinks! What a reckless captain I am. :Big Grin: Massimo Burti Intel Core i9-13900K ¦ 64GB DDR4-3200 - 2x 32GB - Kingston Fury Beast - black ¦ 2x 2TB - m.2 NVMe Gen4 - Samsung 980 Pro ¦ Asus ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4 ¦ Asus TUF RTX 3080 Gaming OC LHR - 12GB ¦ 1000W - 80+ Platinum - Seasonic Prime PX
January 12, 20179 yr Commercial Member In Froogles Video on EZdok 2 he brings up an interesting point - do we want natural cockpit transitions or unnatural transitions? I first setup mine with the camera going to the point of interest such as camera to throttles in the bus so I can make sure I get the indents correct or camera to the MCDU to setup the flightplan and centering the camera on the object, but in his video Froogle keeps the camera seated in the pilot seat and zooms to the object or instrument in question rather than doing what I did. I might try his more natural method for awhile and see how it goes but there are still some areas of a complex pit where I am sure I will have to set the camera again on the object. January 12, 20179 yr Seems there was an update. Not sure what was updating. Anyone knows what the differents is about the Horizon camera joystick options? There is "Auto" and "Manual". Cant see any differents than toggle it on and off. Just an observation. When making worldcameras in the Real Legacy and A2A Comanche you have to manually with right mouse select EZCA worldcam before you edit and save it. Seems like when you hit worldcam i get the VC radiocam instead of auto switch to worldcam. Could be some hotkey selection conflict. Every time i then want to watch a worldcam in those airplanes i need to manually select via P3D own menu with right mouse on screen and then select EZCAv2 worldcam Michael Moe Did you try to create a shortcut ? i9 14900KF 64 Gb DDR5 @ 6 Ghz CAS 32 Asus Apex Z790 W11 64 bits pro sur Kingston FURY Renegade 2 To, MSFS 2024 sur 2 ème Kingston FURY Renegade 2 To, RTX 5090 Alim Asus Thor 1600 W Gold Ecran Samsung G9 57 pouces 8K WC AIO ARTIC liquid freezer II 420 Boitier Gigabyte 3d mars https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEFAk464aSg22aGFZ2LxeFg/videos

January 12, 20179 yr Commercial Member Maybe I am doing this wrong but I cannot get my controller to work with button assignment. For casual flying I use an Xbox controller and when I click on the controller setup in Ezdok I see no controller. I tried writing it in the box but still no luck. Did you have your Controllers plugged in when you installed and ran the 'Config' (with Admin) tool. bob edit ..the pop-up whilst running the config ask you to make a one flight first before using the EZdoc camera tools.
January 12, 20179 yr Commercial Member Strangest thing,,just tried it again and now it sees it. I am starting to think this is the best tool I have ever bought for any flightsim. January 12, 20179 yr Do I need to uninstall my previous version of EZDOK before installing version 2? Is there a discussion or readme how to uninstall first before installing v2? Thanks, Dirk.
January 12, 20179 yr Yes you need to uninstall, and remember you can't use old camera sets with 2.0, the author has also stated that you could just rename the old version folder, but I think reinstall is probably better. Just use the windows uninstaller to remove old version Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's
