Too many bugs with ezdok2 switching back to chase plane. Just wish chase plane had a touch down effect.

Discovered ChasePlane because of this topic, and as a long time user of ezdok, I'm sold. Looking forward to future updates. 

 

 

Lol, I can see how this can be considered a pain in the @$$, although I do have about 20 or so liveries for my PMDG and A320 each myself as well, I don't know why I do though because I only use 3 or 4 of them, but mabey you can copy to all liveries already, but I don't know because my Russian is non existent. I do wish there was a full manual.
I believe it's still a nice little program and really doesn't take a whole lot of time to set things up......for me anyway, to each their own.

Yeah, I look up RW flights on FlightAware departing from wherever my plane happens to be, find one I like, and use the same livery and callsign as the real world flight.  Currently at Copenhagen flying SAS heading to Amsterdam...KLM out of Amsterdam.  Who knows after that?

Eesh.  Import...update.  Import...update.  Make a change...do it all again.  I have 17 liveries for the A320 so far.  A tool to update all or select liveries would be welcome...or a 'Copy to All Liveries' command.

Alternative make a copy from your ezdcam File in user\appdata\roaming\eca\db2\saved_profiles\p3d and rename it to the livery name. Only the name in the ezdok headline does not fit

I'm not sure what that means.  Make a script that copies my newest setting file to all the livery names?  I could, perhaps, imagine making a shortcut file for each of my liveries that all point to one file...not sure if that would work.  Still a pain since I'd have to add one whenever I add a livery.

You're welcome.  It's not entirely my idea.  I'd heard of people doing that in some sense and kept trying to find a working method for doing it.  I do, on occasion, pick a flight that's getting ready to take off and fly with it, monitoring it on FlightAware as I fly along.  That's fun.

yes I am, flying the flysimware lear 35, if you go into the addon window and select global disable, the issue will stop, enable ezdok again and it will do the same crazy stuff. I posted this in their support forum too. I suspect it has something to do with the effect generator, not sure though

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this, I was confident that Ezdok was the culprit as its only just started doing it. It must have something to do with the fuselage effects they are using. I've tried disabling all the effects such as dynamic, splash etc and it still does it. I'm not so sure I like the fact it interferes with the physics of the aircraft, this should be made an option that you can turn on or off.

Been following this thread, and frankly , after looking at a couple of tutorial videos on Youtube, I can't see any major advantage to version 2 over what the version I have now does. Then having to redo all my aircraft again, sounds like a major PIA for nothing. I think I will just stick with version 1, which for me, is totally trouble free. .

My 1.7 ver of EZDOK works fine..the only feature that is missing is "world camera".

 

I want to make sure the external view Hat switch works the same way like the 1,7 version. Before I can install the ver 2.

Negative. I purchased it and it asked me if I wanted to install it. I replied no. You should have that same option.

I tried again... its trying to do a "reinstall" and its not accepting my account password (I can log into Flight 1 account with that same password and see my old orders). I received a list of all my old orders and it for EZDOK 1.7 purchase, it says use myaccount password

 

Once I gave that coupon and old order# and the key, it should be a new product purchase and install... not sure why its saying "reinstall.

You can save it to your computer and install it when you want - I did that yesterday with Flight1 - when it downloaded asked if I wanted it install or save. I decided to save it and install another day.

Did you do a new purchase or did you have the 1.7 installed when you purchased v2 ("reinstall") using the coupon?

Seems like V2 is not running very well??

Think I stick with V1 and look if chase plane or V2 makes the race. But it is a good thing that we have some sort of choice now.

Remember the hold horison camera effect is worth the upgrade alone.

 

I do still have some issues during Startup of P3Dv3.4.9. The program starts but it freezes upon loading cameras.

 

Still cant find the logic in this save or load. Seems like you have to do the same thing everytime twice.
